The is a Great Plaza, holding two of the Best Businesses in Broward County/Coral Springs. The Coral Palm Plaza has both, Doris' Gourmet Italian Grocery Store. The store has some of the Best, vegetable section, bakery, Italian Deli, a fresh meat and fish counter. Doris' also has an excellent wine section and quality imported Italian dry goods and oils. Doris' are has their "Signature" pre-Perpared items, such as Shepard's Pie and Quiches.
The other Great store in this Plaza is Michael's Hobbies and Crafts Store. This Michael's is my primary place to have Art Lithograph and Quality Posters, Framed. The store has a Master Framer in Will M. The store also provides me with origami foil paper I use during the Year End Holidays.
The Plaza contains two of my favorite store, so is one of my regular destinations. Important to me, The Route 2 Bus has a stop directly across from Doris' and Michael's. Highly Recommended and Easy...
Read moreShopping at this plaza is very good. Decided to stop in at Panera Bread and was very disappointed with the meal I purchased. The sandwich I ordered was supposed to be Heritage Ham and Swiss. I assume the meat ran out. The cheese was on a diet, the veggies were on strike and the potato chips gave up. The veggies in the sandwich must have been thrown from a distance based on how much was in the sandwich. Paying almost 10.00 is a shame when the food takes a vacation from your plate. Needless to say this place used to be my favorite but has gone to the dogs. In an earlier review my complaint was that the food at Panera is never consistent and giving it another chance proves just that. I shop in this Plaza a lot and the variety of places to have a bite to eat can be quite a few locations but I won't be visiting this particular sandwich shop anytime in the near future after this...
Read moreWent to Doris Italian market tonight again for the wine tasting, huge selection of wines to sample, great buffet as usual, and large assortment of cheese to sample. The things I am not so thrilled about is it's overcrowded though I understand why but you can barely move around and no where to sit and eat it's even hard to find somewhere to stand and eat. Not sure how to fix it other than buy up space on both sides of store, through out the year they could have more space and items and maybe like Palm Beach be open and serve breakfast and lunch. The other thing is the price ued to be 19.99 for wine, food, $10 towards wine and 10 went to charity so essentially you felt like it was free. Now it's $24.95 + tax food and wine, no voucher or charity. Just a shame Just like any buffet great if you drink a lot and eat a lot but not such a deal for those of us...
