
This store deserves a zero star rating. Wish I would have read all the reviews before shopping here. Terrible customer service all the way at the top. I purchased a swing that didnât even work, before making the purchase Iâd asked the employee about the return policy, which she replied, âreturns can be made within 7 days with original receipt.â After realizing the swing didnât work, my husband returned it, within 3 days of purchase. The store told him they donât do returns on baby equipment but would honor store credit, despite what the employee had told me about returns within 7 days...I called to get my money back and was told by the employee working that there had been a misunderstanding and if something wasnât working I could bring it in and theyâd honor a return. I explained it had already been returned and she said her regional manager would call me back...Took 3 weeks of calling over and over to get in touch with the âregional managerâ. Once I finally got through she doesnât even ask me to explain what happened, she immediately tells her employees have already told me several times that nothing more can be done, telling me Iâve misunderstood what her employee said, all employees are extensively trained on the return policy. Explains that they test all baby equipment and itâs happened before that when someone brings it home it just doesnât work...Which makes zero sense that itâs tested but all of a sudden when itâs purchased and brought home it stops working. She then tells me she is going to hang up on me because sheâs repeated herself enough. $75 wasted at this store on equipment that doesnât even work. As the owner of the store you would think youâd want to hear the customer, yet all she wanted to do was point fingers....

As a family of a young child, we were very excited to have this store near us! Weâve used them frequently over the last couple years which is why this post is so disappointing. They sold us an infant pillow in September that had been recalled in April. Once we found this out, we reached out to the store to see if they would refund/give us store credit. They refused since we no longer had the receipt or tag. They admitted that they messed up and shouldnât have sold us the item, but refused to do anything about it because in the past, people have tried to return items they didnât purchase from there. Typically I would understand if someone doesnât have a receipt, but if the product shouldnât have been sold to begin with, you would think the business would at least attempt to correct the situation. Very disappointing customer service. Be sure to research your products prior to purchasing...
   Read moreIt was my first time visiting our local Once Upon a Child and all I have to say is, what a lovely experience. My one year daughter was having a break down in the middle of the store and one of the associates took the time out to play with her so I could get some shopping done, her name is Aimee. In addition to the excellent customer service, thereâs a lot of variety of things to choose from and the clearance sales are insane. I got a whole lot of Schleich figurines for under $10, when each one costs about that much, brand new. My only recommendation for management is that they offer the shoppers shopping carts, considering that itâs a store for kids stuff. Itâs really hard as a mum to lug a shopping bag and an overactive toddler around. I had to put her in her stroller but it wasnât without a fight. Also, since management recommends itâs sellers to sell their clothing only after being laundered, there is an overwhelming chemical laundry detergent smell that youâll get when you enter the store, youâll get used to it but I just thought Iâd give yâall a disclaimer....
