This T.J. Maxx is a great place to stop when traffic is terrible. Unfortunately, the clothing selection is hit or miss and could use more options in the designer section but occasionally there are some rare gems hidden in the bulk the cluttered aisles and shelves. Bright spot... The hair and beauty treatment department often has good choices. (Dr. Bronner's castile soap, O.P.I. nail polish, and other unexpected finds)

The workers keep hogging all the Sanrio hello kitty items and leaving us none of them. There will be 5 people at the cashier with 2 open. All they do is talk to each other NOT DOING THEIR JOB. Meanwhile us customers been waiting in line for 20 minutes. Waste of time. Always hiring but never hiring me.

I needed a few things. Found what I was looking for. A beautiful black Shawl for an evening formal wedding $14.99. Plus items I just had to have. Some items on clearance others at a good price.

Went in just to browse on my lunch break and saw a jacket that was stunning. I work close to this TJ SO I CALLED BEFORE to have the jacket placed on hold. The young lady who answered the phone said let me get you to a floor associate that can assist you on the line thank you. The Associate I was transferred to said that's not her department, I asked to speak with a manager and she disconnected the call. I called back in a attempted to speak to an associate in that area. I was transferred again and the young lady located the jacket. I asked her to hold it for me and I would pick it up on my lunch break. Fast forward, I walked into the store and asked the young lady behind the counter to locate the jacket I placed on hold. A guy employee walks up and asked do you need assistance I said no thank you this young lady is helping me. She asked my name took the coat off the rack and went on to say she couldn't give me the coat because it was 79 dollars. I told her I needed to try it on to see if I was going to purchase it. The employee said she would take it to the dressing room and she would meet me over there. I was a little bit confused because the jackets were on the rack available for all customers. When I got to the register the cashier looked at me like how can I help you so I looked at her like I was waiting for my item to be walked up. She walks away from her register and starts whispering to the young lady who said she couldn't give me the jacket. As a black woman with 20 years in management/retail, it felt for sure I was being profiled. Never had this experience at this location before. I get everything that's going on in the world but please do better customer service should be your top priority. Everyone is not...

Hire another jewelry associate, every single time we come to the TJ Maxx in Corona we are treated horribly by the same cashier. She is never kind and never is helpful. Usually we ignore it but today was ridiculous. While waiting to be assisted with some jewelry the cashier ignored us and helped two other customers before us. She did not ask if we needed help afterwards even though we were standing there and staring at her. We had to ask her several times before she finally assisted. When she did she was rude when showing jewelry, was not listening to which piece we wanted, and in the middle of helping us out she left to assist another customer. She let us know she’d be right back so we waited, when she was done she helped another customer instead of coming back to help us. At this point I asked a passing associate to call another cashier to the jewelry section. Once they sent over another associate the transaction went smooth as can be. At this point I asked for a manager and spoke with Chelsea, she listened to my feed back but honestly don’t feel this will be addressed. Not going to be shopping at TJMaxx for quite some time, and when I do it will NOT be at the...

Don’t even bother. I had simply come back in to check if I had left my phone, and one of the associates — a girl with glasses, long hair and Latina . Her tone, her body language, the way she spoke to me… it felt like I was bothering her just for asking a simple question. There was no basic courtesy, no willingness to help — just pure attitude. I genuinely left the store feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. What made it worse was that her coworker, who was standing nearby, was the total opposite: kind, understanding, and helpful. It really highlighted how unprofessional Lina’s behavior was in comparison. If you’re going to work in customer service — especially in retail — the bare minimum is to treat people with respect. If you’re having a bad day, don’t take it out on customers who did nothing wrong. Simple as that. I hope management sees this and addresses it, because one rude employee can ruin the...
