This charming little museum, tucked away in the heart of Roscoe Village, showcases an impressive array of historical artifacts and literature that span diverse cultures and time periods. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring indigenous cultures of North America alongside fascinating displays from 17th-century Asian civilizations. Despite its small size, the museum is thoughtfully curated, offering an enriching experience filled with unique treasures and storytelling elements that captivate the imagination. From intricate pottery and traditional clothing to detailed manuscripts, there's truly a wealth of history waiting to be discovered within its walls, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in the rich tapestry of human heritage.

Everything is handicap/stroller friendly! The museum had so many interesting rarely seen items and it was all set up so organized. The quilt show special exhibit was beautiful and well displayed. Museum is not extremely kid friendly as most item say do not touch; however, there is a kid scavenger hunt to keep them occupied as well as one child friendly area downstairs for them to play. Ramps at front of building and elevator to get to top floor. Staff was very polite and knowledgeable. Bathrooms were clean and maintained. Gift shop had items at various price points so regardless of budget you could probably find something for a souvenir.

This museum is a collection of two brothers that traveled the world in the 1800s and crested this collection. Upstairs you'll find a collection of Japanese and Chinese artifacts. Main floor has a collection of Native American and local artifacts. They do have a room upstairs that.is for special exhibits. Now through Dec. 31, 2021 is an exhibit of photographs from local artisits. They do have an elevator for those who have difficulty doing stairs and is wheel chair accessible.
