Sonoma Backyard — Attraction in Cotati

We have purchased a few items over the years. Always a great selection and quality items. Our umbrellas have really held up! Most recently we purchased a hot tub from them. Gabe was the salesman who helped me and he really went above and beyond! He is very knowledgeable and helped me pick just the right spa. I never felt upsold, in fact I ended up with a less expensive model. I needed some electrical work and special/challenging delivery location and he patiently guided me through my questions and phone calls.

The sale was made weeks before I was ready for delivery, but Gabe stuck around for the process. He is quick to answer his cell phone- even on his day off! (Sorry!). In the end, after it was delivered and my electrician connected it, the pump and jets didn’t work. It would have required a service call ($) to diagnose the problem, but Gabe offered to swing by on his way to work and look at it. He quickly determined the the power wasn’t quite hooked up correctly. Another quick visit by my electrician and it worked! Beautiful high-quality, Table, excellent service.

We had been browsing the Internet for a new patio dining set for weeks when I happened to ask a man at Ace Hardware if he knew any good local outdoor furniture stores. He mentioned Sonoma Backyard, so we went to check it out. The salesman at the store was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and not the least bit pushy. We left without buying anything that day, but as we considered the extremely high-quality pieces we had seen in their show room, and compared them to the harder-to-assess quality of all the sets we were seeing online, we decided to “buy local“ and get a set that was going to last us decades.

They were able to deliver the table the same day that we ordered it, which was really going above and beyond. We had mentioned we were having a barbecue that weekend, and if possible, we would love to use our new table.

Also, amazing white-glove delivery (fully assembled, carefully carried in to our backyard).

My husband and I had been looking at swim spas and had gone to a few fairs and sales, after looking at them there we decided to go into Sonoma Backyard. Gabe was our salesperson and he is wonderful! He was very easy to work with, explained options and answered numerous questions. We ended up buying a floor model swim spa and an outdoor kitchen island. Gabe was on top of everything for us and did a great job of keeping us informed every step of the way. He even helped us with a fire pit we needed to get up and running. We had the fire pit built by someone else, but Gabe put us in touch with a company in SOCAL who helped us to a certain point. When they could no longer assist us, Gabe went above & beyond to help us get our fire pit working. He is very knowledgeable and had no problem coming out to our home in order to make sure everything was perfect. I bothered him with lots of emails asking questions and he always got back to me promptly and never made me feel like I was a pest.
