Best hole in the wall spot for AMAZING CHINESE FOOD!

My boyfriend and his family had been coming here since he was a child. It's ran by the same family as long as he can remember. Parents cooking in the kitchen, adult kids handling the front. He has seen the grandchildren his age work, gone off to college and return to help out the family restaurant. The family who runs the restaurant are always friendly and kind.

Seating is limited inside the restaurant, and this place is made more for take out.

Food is cooked and set out like Panda Express style, where you can pick and choose what you want. They have many more additional items you can order off the menu as well.

There are several different combo plates to choose from, order food a la carte cart and catering options too.

The food is affordable, the quality is great and the quantity! They pile the plates up!!! On busy days/rush hour, the line can get out the door.

We love coming here and will continue to come here for...

Not Hunan, but Basic American-Chinese Fare

The name of this place is misleading. We came expecting the fiery, bold flavors of Hunan province in China, but instead were served Cantonese cuisine. It’s a bit like walking into an Italian restaurant only to discover you’re being served German food.

Once the initial disappointment faded, we judged the food on its own merits. What’s offered here is basic American-Chinese fare—familiar staples prepared with an abundance of grease and lacking fresh, vibrant flavors. If that’s your preference, you’ll enjoy it, but Hunanese cuisine it is not.

This is a counter-service-only establishment, and most customers seem to order their food to go. The dining room is clean, as is the restroom. Prices are reasonable, and the service is decent enough.

I use to enjoy buying take-out from this place until today, I went and ordered a plate to go like I usually do but I noticed the owner served me the leftover dry hard rice and even scraped the rest and served it to me, when I asked if I could get some new rice they had freshly made before I payed for my food, the owner seemed bothered and said no so I decided to just give it a try but the rice was not pleasant at all when I took it home and ate it. That's the Last time I go there and after telling my family about it they definitely won't be going back there as well. Apparently, it's too much to ask for good...
