This place is a lot of fun for the kids. However it is pricey. We're talking almost as much as an amusement park/fair. Up front, it doesn't appear to be but you have to consider it's $29.99 per person + $5 ea. for their socks (No others are acceptable). And that's for 2hrs. There is also a smaller sized arcade inside that has a ticket based rewards system like Chucky Cheese as well as a small blacklight mini-golf (NOT included in basic entrance fee $8.99/round). The fun games in the arcade are disproportionately priced compared to the others in terms of token-to-play ratio. I will get more into the arcade situation after I finish explaining the entrance fee tiering. So since the basic, almost $35 entrance fee is only for 2 hrs, the average person is going to select the next tier option, which is for $35. This gives you all-day access, a 500 hundred tokens for the arcade, discount access to the mini-golf ($4.99/round), as well as a complimentary popcorn and small soda....BUT NOT SOCKS, putting the total at a little over $40 per person after tax. I must say it is still totally worth it. Just be prepared to spend quite a bit more on top of that once you are inside.
The 500 free tokens ($5) go extremely fast (make sure to check how much the game you want to play costs!! My daughter accidentally spent ALL her tokens on 1 game play), so expect to shell out some cash if you have gamers in your party.
THERE IS A $40+ outside cake/food fee! They want you to pay for party catering packages!! Be prepared!!
Lastly there is the concession stand/amenities. The food/snacks are actually pretty reasonably priced if you think in terms of other types of venues. Whole pizzas under$20. There are also lockers which I highly recommend, (I haven't used them yet and don't know their cost)since the last few times having our stuff touched/moved was the impetus for our decision next time. On that note I must add that there is not very much seating or tables available and generally seems to be reserved for people who are paying to have parties. Be prepared to have your stuff moved messed with or missing.
So all in what does it mean? You're looking at about $50 to $60nor more per kid, plus food/drinks. STILL WORTH...
Read moreFun place but do NOT have a birthday party here. First off, we got there and the floor in our party room was so sticky our shoes literally stuck to the floor. Then we all just stood there because the hostess didn't give us any information. So we explained, we do not know what we are doing and we have never been here so we need you to help us. She finally said we need to check in with her to get the kids socks. So we did that and then stood around telling the kids to hold on until she gives us directions. Finally she said "oh what time do they want to do the private event?" We pick a time and wait some more. Then I ask if they can go play and she says yes until 1:30. So we send them to play, then she changes the time to 1:15 (which was fine). However, they made the announcement and then the kids went to the area and she just stood there. The kids are 7/8 and have never been to this place. They had no idea what to do and so they left. 4 of the kids ended up participating in the event that cost extra. So in frustration I explained to the manager that our host is sweet but very young and inexperienced and I can't get her to talk to me and give us or the kids directions. The managers response was "We made the announcement if the kids left that's their fault." So I again explained the fact that they came and stood there waiting for directions and did not receive anything. The manager then offered to run it again later but I explained we can't extend the party because we have to be back in the city by 5 but they could return the amount of the private event. She let me know all sales are final and none of this is her fault. At this point it was time for pizza. Our hottest delivered the pizza and left the room so we ended up fending for ourselves. Then she came in gave the kids their arcade cards and went on a break.
The kids had a good time I just wouldn't pay for the party...
Read moreAs a mom, I am completely in love with this place!!! My kids love it, and it uses up their excess energy. There are wall to wall trampolines, a foam pit, a play structure, arcade AND massage chairs. I do find them prohibitively overpriced during the normal hours for my family of 5, BUT their munchkin and me deal is great.
Munchkin and me:Tuesday and Friday starting at 11am-1pm $15 for 2 hours of jump time for one adult and one child (under 7). Each extra child is $3 and each extra adult is only $6. Free coffee and bagels.
*12:30 is the latest you can arrive and still get the 2 full hours, after 12:30 they generally will let you pay for the munchkin and me deal, but you can only jump until 2 (often still the best deal).
*If the bagels and coffee are a big draw for you, get they early they often run out. I asked about it, they only ever put out 12-18 bagels, cut into quarters. They put out half at opening and refill once. Coffee is starbucks to go jugs. *they sell a frequent visitor card for this deal too, for even more money savings
