Where to begin. This is a hidden gem in downtown Covina. I enrolled my daughter there about 3 years ago. Best couple of years ever. They really care about the kids ( more than adults) .š They have an after school program that is Amazing. The sensei's are all so nice and down to earth. From Chico & Tammy and their young adults! I cried when my kid had to leave there. I don't trust many with her and we loved the program! They pick up the elementary age kids from school... Wow moms y'all know the pick up school line is Horrible. That's a plus all by itself. With the crazy world we live in, they are safe, doing homework, learning discipline, respect and most important self defense . They do crafts, activities and they dance! Omg wish I could go! Anyways parents you get it, they truly are THE BEST EVER. Also they have a summer program too! Please don't hesitate to enroll your lil angels here. Your kids deserve the best ( you deserve not to worry& know they are safe! Thanks Sensei's love &...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBushido Martial Arts has benefited my daughter in so many ways. She gets a great workout and is learning defense skills, but she also has tons of fun while attending her classes. She calls it her happy place, and I believe itās because sheās developing skills that have boosted her self confidence and have increased abilities that have only been possible through the approaches of those who teach her. She started at Bushido prior to the pandemic and we have seen every effort made to enhance kids experiences. They teach discipline as well as life skills. One of my favorite things about this place is that they foster an atmosphere of acceptance and belonging. Kids are kind to each other and encourage each other regardless of their level or age. The positivity, inclusion, and fun that is offered is rare to find in kids...

We instantly new we made the right choice. Sensei Shane was professional of course, but the way he interacts with kids is something to watch. By the end of her first private lesson he had her standing just a little taller. We spent 3 great years at VBMA. She didnāt always succeed in class, but they helped her realize that she could. This last year she played in 2 sports plus VBMA at the beginning. She also did very well in school, which the Senseiās are constantly reminding the kids about. She now loves competition and looks forward to the next season. All this from a little girl who tripped on her belt the first day of class. Thank...
