Walgreens — Attraction in Cudahy

2 is generous but there are good people who work here.

Edit: 1 star after going to pickup my prescription. No one cares, no responsibility for lying taken by anyone, still don't have my full prescription even though I was told yesterday they had it, absolutely ridiculous. After I get the rest of my prescription I'm never going here again, for anything. This is embarrassing for Walgreens.

6 months ago I was told to call a few days ahead of time to make sure my prescription was in stock. I've been doing that, and even calling the day before to make extra sure it would be in stock, and every time I was told yes, it wouldn't be a problem, everything was in stock and they do those kinds of prescriptions in the morning, so they'd be ready before lunch.

3 months in a row they have been out of stock the day I have to pickup my prescriptions, after telling me multiple times they had them and there would be no issues. They already make me wait until the last possible day to pickup, so I am literally out every time this happens because of their stupid 30 day policies.

I don't know who's lying to their customers, but something needs to be done. I called at 9:11am on 4/29/25, and whoever was answering phones at that time is lying to customers and not even checking their stock. They're just trying to get off the phone to do something else, so they tell you what you want to hear. This is going to lead to people getting hurt.

I will be transferring all of my prescriptions out of this Walgreens. I feel bad for the good people that work there because this makes everyone look bad. I doubt anyone from Walgreens cares enough to read these, but there's multiple reviews just like mine on here. Someone in the pharmacy is screwing with...

Update: I went in today at 1:30, 4 minutes exactly after I received a text that my sons seizure medication was ready. I get greeted with a major attitude saying "ma'am we're closed!" As I stepped in line. I said absolutely not, I need my sons seizure medication. She stared at me for a few minutes like she wanted to fight me. She said something snotty to her coworker but I just walked out. I realized it was about to be their meal break and if she would've just said, we're about to close for our meal break, that would've been different. As I walked away, I told them how much they suck. I also stopped to speak to a really friendly manager. He apologized but I'll be putting in a formal complaint to corporate, as well as transferring my prescriptions to a different pharmacy, not Walgreens. So dissatisfied with this pharmacy. On multiple occasions, prescriptions were held up that I was not notified of at all. Once being my sons seizure medication and they had no insurance on file. I asked if they had a phone number?? Yes of course they did. Do you think they called me? Nope, I always have to call and see what the hold up is. Horrible pharmacy!! Their customer service is ridiculously bad and unprofessional and unhelpful. I called and was hung up on 3 times. I was waiting in line for 15 mins just to have their window be closed in my face. I called to try and speak to someone and got the run around. I've never seen such lack in care for their customers. If someone is in line before closing hours and is waiting and waiting over 15mins for the person ahead to finish, you should still help those in your line who had been waiting the whole 20 mins it took you to finish the person ahead and not just slam the window like you didn't see the other person jad been waiting there. I record everything not like it matters nowdays. Stores nor their manager or staff really give a crap about customer service now days.
