It only seems like two people there actually care about there customers. Like straight up if I see certain people working inside I wont even bother going that day, because I have been told different stories each time I went in there by some employees like they didn't even want to work with me. For years now I lost my reward card and I had to guys there constantly say I could never use my points because I didn't have my card and when I told them I was able to not even a few days ago he straight up called me a liar and told me I couldn't do it. On a different occasion I asked if they had a game in Stock and he just laughed at me like it was a joke me just asking for it. There's another guy in there who straight told me a legendary edition of a game I wanted wasn't available in North America, but on the day I went to pick up the game he asked if I ordered the legendary edition and when I told him he said it was unavailable he lied and said he told me I had tried to order it to late and never told me it wasn't available.
So over all aside from having some of the worse trade in deals I've ever seen and some varying "deals" it's some of the worse customer service I've ever experienced aside from like two people and the manager. So over all if possible I don't even order games from there unless there's a pre-order bonus I want that I can only get there. But I still think I've only been there maybe four...
Read moreI have never had a problem with GameStop until today went in for a game and waited in line forever when I get to the counter she asks for my id bc the game was rated m I gave it to her no biggie then she asks if I have a phone number with GameStop I say no and that I preferred not to set one up then she proceeded to ask me another time I say no then she asks another time and I say no I really just want the game and at that point she had just haggled the 2 people before me for a 2 year protection plan that the guy didn’t want and forgot to let him know the switch he was getting was digital not hard copy games so he was not happy either but back to the phone thing she then proceeded to tell me she didn’t like my attitude and asked me to exit the store when she cldnt get more sales out of me to look better on her wasn’t very happy so you can guess I had some choice words that weren’t to kind to the employee that works at the Cullman location that likes to scam people out of there money and try to get them for every dime I hope u get fired for this because you truly ruined a store that I’ve gone to since...
Read moreI've been going to this establishment for 14 years and other than minor issues I've never had a real issue. Until my last visit. I went in to buy a controller for my ps5 and knowing how I've got burnt on used things in the past I decided to buy new. I denied the 16 dollar 1 year warranty because of how expensive the controller already was , plus if it was defected I could just bring it in and exchange it or so I thought! Got home unboxed it and quickly felt how defaulted the controller was. I boxed it back up and waited the next day to take it back since they were already closed for the day! Took it back the next day with receipt and the sales associate told me he didnt see or feel anything wrong with it and since I bought it new I couldn't exchange it (store policy), but if I had bought it used they're wouldn't be an issue. Said he'd gladly give me 42 dollars store credit. Whaaaat? Mind you i just bought it less than 24 hours. I said nope and emailed gamestop. This was they're reply. Not driving 45 minutes out of my way. So they got me for the last time. Been using gamestop for 25 years...
