Cartridges Galore Video Games — Attraction in Cumberland

I used to like this place and I was hoping that this branch and the one in Lavale would be better than the ones in Morgantown but I was dead wrong. You are supposed to hire people that actually enjoy gaming I gave these people multiple chances cuz I thought maybe they were just having a bad day but it was almost every time I went in there.

So first I had issues with the Lavale Branch with a few of the associates there getting attitudes. One in particular is the tall dude that has the short hair I don't know what his issue is but he needs to get therapy. I'm autistic and I'm ADHD I genuinely am just a bubbly happy guy who enjoys talking about video games and buying stuff that has to do with Zelda I don't need someone trying to be negative all the time about everything I do and say. Recently I went into the location in Cumberland this one in particular and I yet again was met with attitude by the same individual who I had an issue with before. Now on top of all this I bought a Wii u controller that is the actual Nintendo brand and the charger doesn't work properly I just now figured it out and unfortunately the warranty that I'm able to return this or get it exchanged is passed. I shouldn't be surprised by any of this because I even had issues with Morgantown not only not communicating like you know typical neurotypicals don't but give me a game that doesn't work and they wouldn't even honor a sale where I was supposed to have gotten a free game because I supposedly...

Apparently they no longer pay more for your trade-ins than Gamestop, and if you're a Pro member at Gamestop, you'll actually get more than Cartridges would give you. Also since Gamestop will order a game for you if they don't have it in store, there's not much point in going to Cartridges anymore. Only thing they're good for now is retro stuff. I also can't say I'm a fan of them scalping new gen consoles ( PS5, XSX ). Recently saw them selling a Series X in the Lavale store for $750, which is more than scalpers on Ebay and Stockx want.

*Update to respond to owner's reply * The item I tried to trade in for a cash offer was an Xbox One X, it was a complete console ( hdmi, power, 1 official controller ) all in working condition. I was offered $240 cash, which was at the time the same as what Gamestop was offering per their website, thus why I stated in my original review you no longer offer more than Gamestop. However, I stated to the guy working there that Gamestop was offering $265 cash to Pro members, and I offered to pull my account up on the Gamestop app on my phone to prove that I was an active Pro member. I was simply told that $240 cash was the max he could give, which again is why I stated that if you're a Gamestop Pro member, you'll get more there.

this is gonna be a hard one because i love this place because of the girl that works there shes always friendly and knows what shes doing but Logan omg logan is a complete idiot - he sold my son a broken playstation 2 with a ruined seal so when we tried taking it back he said they dont do returns because the seal was broken, that was 100 bucks my son saved just to be ripped off by this idiot and even after that my son still chose to go back there for the deals no matter what Logan the idiot still screws up everything, sold him games with the wrong discs, games that didnt work, he wouldnt allow my son to redeem points, nothing, hes a complete idiot and when his friends comes around he lets them slide on everything, Logan offered my son 5 bucks for his pokemon cards and offered his friends over 50 bucks for their cards, its getting out of hand with Logan and the bad news is, he manages the one in lavale too, i wish they would fire...
