The park was wonderful and not crowded. It had beautiful views. The driving directions were wrong. There is no parking, and very limited access from Gordon st. The main access points to the park are the Custer Skywalk Trail or Pageant Hill (off Canal St). I discovered the locals are a little frustrated with the google map...

We did the hike up to the top of the park.

The trail was was well marked and for the most part was shaded. It took us under an hour to make it to the top.

We hiked to top for sunset. When we got up there we saw there was a road n we wouldn’t have had to climb the 200 steps. I even googled to see if we could drive up. There’s not specific parked lot. But there was a car parked in side of road
