Went to look at their Black Friday selection and was unpleasantly surprised. Instead of the nice, helpful and courteous staff I'm used to those working stared and gossiped in the front. We browsed for about 45 minutes and went to make our purchase. Not one 'Can I help you?', not one 'Here's some deals', and it wasn't until we were leaving we saw the basket sale sign. I let the staff know it was probably the worst visit we ever had to complete silence as the response. I left my name/# for the manager to call me but she never did. I'm not sure if people 'just there' is a new fad or staff norm but hopefully the manager/owner works on that. Go across the street to Good Karma though, always nice.
**Additional edit since I couldn't reply to the owners response - No one was disrespectful or rude!?! Not my mother, my daughter nor I. If chiding your clerk and asking her to have you call me was disrespectful I'd hate to guage your standards from that. But I won't apologize for a review of a bad experience or your deflection. Like I said it was a shocking first there. We frequent your store 5/6 times a year. Also no one asked your staff to 'stay late' either nor we're we told you were closing!?! Had they even talked to us they could've conveyed store time. We would have gladly left and returned another day had that been the case. Sounds like we got the tail end of the great day, sadly. Perhaps apologize and not cover for your staffs disrespect and now possibly false relay. I'm curious now if it's my brown skin that wasn't the difference of a great day to our experience. So store manager, store manager, store manager my blessings to you this Christmas season and prayers for your staff and yourself.

I will say first, that the person who buys and displays for this store has talent, this store in very unique, beautiful and inspiring. However, I hope they will reconsider their over-the-top mask policy in light of the newest CDC announcements. There is a vaccine for those who want it and the CDC have made it clear that it's okay to relax the mask wearing, yet this place continues to force mask wearing and it harasses customers that don't. I understand masks for the height of the crisis in 2020 but this is May 2021. I saw no less than three very awkward incidences, in the span of 15 minutes, of an employee badgering people to put on masks, or else leave. The store had a "mask police" employee watching everyone like a hawk, it made for a very uncomfortable...
Read moreIf less than one star was possible I would give it! There are some neat things in the store. We went upstairs for my wife to find a poncho or sweater. Several of the ones she tried on I told her to get. She found one top she liked on the advertised rack but wanted to make sure it was included. The shop worker shook her head no. As my wife went back to replace it, that employed looked at another employee and said, "It's like when they hold up a scarf and say, Is this a sweater?" Apparently she did not know I was the husband. I told my wife, come on we are done, we are leaving. She asked what happened and when I told her she headed back to talk to the women. They both went in the bathroom when they realized who I was.
