The employees are very pleasing and had easily assisted me with questions regarding membership and products.
The store has a large stock of older games of which you can still purchase if asked. I was able to purchase Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 on the Nintendo Wii in person—significantly more convenient than purchasing online through second hand sites.
Like previously mentioned, the employees are very lovely to speak with. Some of which, greet me as a friend rather than just a customer. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to ask of their name, but would like to address them by description.
Tall guy, most likely a manager, with shortly trimmed hair had persuaded me to sign up for membership. Of which further encourages me to go out more to purchase physical games rather than stay home purchasing strictly digital.
The brunette employee had also assisted me with browsing the Wii game stock on two occasions. Although the Wii stock is stored in the back, she printed out a list containing THE ENTIRE CATALOG. Im glad to have easily found...
Read moreGameStop has had its issues for awhile but it's still the best place to buy physical videogames and merchandise related to it. The trade credit has gotten better, however what's prompted this review is the customer service of the Employee Jonathan. I am hoping he was just having a bad day but when I walked in he was entertaining what I assumed to be a group of his friends but when I approached him he got much quieter and became lethargic and barely spoke above a whisper. I traded my game and had a casual conversation with him in which he didn't really explain anything very well and overall seemed sluggish and as if he didn't want to be there. I got my credit and looked around the store. He went to the back and didn't speak to me again. When I was getting ready to leave I told him bye in a friendly tone and way and he could barely muster a sigh and a "you too". Overall I have great experiences with this store and staff but I find Jonathan to be incredibly unbecoming of the...
Read moreI called this store if they had a game in stock and a woman answered the phone. She placed me on hold while she looked and then said they have a few in stock. I told her that I was on my way. I arrive about 40 minutes later and the only person behind the counter is a woman. I recognized her voice as the same woman over the phone. I asked for this game and she looked for about a minute. She then said she didn't have it. I explained that she told me over the phone it was in stock. She then said it wasn't her and she just arrived to the store. This store had only been open for about 1 hour 30 minutes. Also, it was definitely her because I recognized her voice over the phone from earlier. She lied about finding the game in their system and has terrible customer service. She is unable to perform her job and makes up a lame excuse that it wasn't her. Didn't even apologize and she had a "don't care" attitude. If I was her manager, I would fire her...
