Do not go to the one in Woodbridge. Took my kids on Tuesday, the 21st, around 5pm.
The manager is rude, she said her name was princess. I pointed out to her their website and the signs on their doors regarding masks all say something different. Well the princess put her hand up told me she wasn't going to entertain me and that I can call corporate. I understand everyone is worked up about the mask thing but the attitude was not necessary. And they aren't even enforcing it as they should to justify her response. People were still walking around with masks on their chin.
The cashier, Rosa also had an attitude with me and this is the first interaction with her. I asked if she could speak up a little because it was hard to hear her and her response, "Yeah, I know" and continued to speak at the same volume. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times as I am hard of hearing. Took longer than it should have to order.
On top of that, this place is dirty. We had ants crawling on our food trays and drinks. We sat in a booth in the corner on the main side by the windows. When I noticed, I packed up our stuff in to-go boxes and moved to another table. I carried the bag with me but left the drinks on the edge of the new booth table. We came back to an ant crawling on the drink and another one making it's way - granted it was much less then there were at the first table, but still disgusting. When I told the cashier, Rosa, she just nodded and walked off.
I will upload pictures of the ants once I figure out how to. *figured out I have to add photos through the maps app.
No one was standing by the door 90% of the time we were there. Not sure how often sanitizing and disingecting is scheduled but we didn't see any of that going on and there were quite a few families there at the same time.
Don't waste your time or money here. Go to the one in Manassas. We went yesterday since we had left over tokens (would rather drive 40 minutes then to go back to woodbridge). Despite the rough morning they had with the power outage and broken window, the customer service from everyone was phenomenal. I saw the young man wiping down counters and the games I think every 30 minutes. I'm not sure but it was frequently. The manager on duty, Suzanne, was very nice. And there was ALWAYS someone...
Read morePlace was packed for dinner on Sunday. We were greeted, tagged, and sent on our own merry way to fiend for a table. We have been several times to the chain as guests of birthday parties and....needless to say we had to ask if we had to seat ourselves. Kid was nice and omitted any belittlement in his answering our ignorant question.
Ordering was a process. Their card system was slower and took about 15 minutes to place our order. It would help if they had a snapshot of all the questions a customer is about to field when ordering, ie wing sauce flavors, types of bread sticks, and dip sauces offered (that's just the family sampler). They have military specials...but you have to know those in advance because only the manager knew what they were and he was too busy waiting on his receipt to print. End result...family sampler (wings, fries, cheesy bread sticks, celery), medium super combo pizza, 70 tokens, and a Stella = $61.
We...ahem...daughter played away with her swipe card. She thoroughly enjoyed herself even though there were a couple games that were down that still took her tokens. I got smart after about the third one. Didn't want to make a fuss because there was a staff member actively working on other games where parents had requested help. As a heads up, just make sure to look at the swipe pad or the game itself, you can tell it doesn't work.
The food arrives...it only took two phone calls from the wife to peal me...ahem...I mean my baby from Plants vs. Zombies. And, I have to say, I'm not sure whether we were hungry...or the food was good...but it got inhaled. Stuffed crust pizza is the way to go. Buffalo wings were decent. Celery was crispy. Fries were fresh. There was flavor!
We were surprised at the satisfaction having read some of the reviews. Only reason this place can't get the 5th star is because we waited way too long to order our food with as much staff as there was and the games that still took our tokens.
To add something in their favor, there was a lost little girl to which all staff was alerted and found the parents right away. Overall, they were nice in light of the NOISE that so many little humans can make. Our table was clean as was the rest of the areas.
We will gladly return to...
Read moreI attempted to call but was unable to reach anyone despite remaining on the line for nearly an hour and calling back three additional times. My god child came to this location recently as a completely healthy child. Although she had an amazing time, she unfortunately left this venue with hand foot and mouth. Considering, she was completely healthy, had no symptoms prior, and immediately shown symptoms after attending, we are more than certain that this is why. Both her mother and myself have attempted to speak with someone to inform them so they can thoroughly clean this facility however, we were unsuccessful as it is completely automated. We have cogitated on whether we should direct this to their corporate location but have decided to warn parents instead. My god baby is only 3 years old and rarely sick, which is why this was very scary for us! I cannot express the immense displeasure and disappointment that her parents and myself have with this facility and their carelessness. Our children are in your care so please be mindful of this and clean. My god child never once made contact with any other child or their possessions and strictly remained in the play areas. The only time she made contact with anyone outside of her parents, was when she hugged the Chuck E. Cheese mascot which could have been part of why she is sick. To my fellow parents and guardians, please, protect your babies and be wary of this location and to the employees of this location and franchise, please do a better job at keeping our children safe. They are our future and they are innocent souls who do not deserve to be sick due to an adults negligence....
