My boyfriend and I were couch shopping a couple of months ago and found a couch that we liked online. We went to the Canales furniture location on Jefferson St. and we found out that the couch we liked was out of stock. We ended up choosing another couch that was similar but only available online as it wasn't available in the store to test. The couch was delivered 2 days after the purchase and it worked well until about a month after the purchase when one of the legs broke. We contacted Canales and they were able to provide a replacement couch and all was well...until a different couch leg broke a month later. My boyfriend has contacted Canales and visited the store to file a claim for a refund but Canales has not called back nor emailed regarding this or even provided other solutions. Read moreEdited: My bedroom was delivered today 8/25/2020. I love Canales but this time I’m disappointed. I purchased the Alexandria bedroom set last year for my daughter and I purchased the same set for me. After the guys finished installing it, Everything looked good and they left. I however noticed the chest was wobbly and smaller than my daughters. I called the guys and they came back and fixed the wobble. I told them the chest was smaller and the insisted it being the same. After they left I measured the new chest and my daughters and in fact the new chest is smaller and also the drawers are very stiff to open since they side on wood and my daughters drawers have the smooth wheels. I am disappointed that I purchased the Alexandria chest but they delivered the platinum youth chest that looks exactly the same just smaller and with stiff drawers.

(Don’t bother buying the warranty) Filed a claim since Feb 2024 and have yet to receive replacements or have them fixed. Montage the insurance company sent someone to check them in April and they stated I need replacement couch and love seat. Now they are stating they are waiting on materials from over seas (possibly china) It’s a waste of time and money purchasing insurance. DONT PURCHASE IT!!
They give you this entire speech how good they are on replacing if any issue but it’s only to sell you the policy. Not worth it at all and not worth buying from them ever again. It’s June 2024 now and she is still waiting on materials- no updates. Hopefully Canales Furniture does better not having customers wait around so long after paying over $2k on furniture.
