I am a new resident in this area and noticed this charming neighborhood park with a walking track as I was going to the nearby Walmart. I was a little uneasy about the park because there were two men (homeless?) sleeping in the park, one on a bench and one on a picnic table. This was unfortunate, because there is a very nice, fully equipped playground area, but, of course, no children playing in it. Not with two transients sleeping there. I came back a few hours later and the guy on the table was still there, sleeping soundly. I went ahead and walked the track, anyway because I need the exercise. Don't think I will be back, though, if transients keep using it as sleeping quarters. Too creepy. Several months later: Unfortunately, this park is now more or less a camp for indigent and homeless people. I visited today, and every horizontal surface was occupied by someone sleeping on it.
