We have been there twice on a family dinner. The restaurant is cozy. The first time our waiter was outstanding and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately I forgot his name of which I am ashamed since he would definitely deserve to mention him as a professional. He gave exceptional recommendations and took very good of the whole table both the foods and wines. For the second time I wanted to have the same waiter I was on about but he was not working that day. We missed him a lot. His colleague was rather on the way of studying and practicing how to be a pro. Luckily we were very busy with talking since we rarely see each other and to be perfectly honest the service previously it was so good that I did not want to notice the noticeably less we got. Fist time our server was so outstanding that I could have forgiven anything for his colleague. I always forget that a salad is coming on the side so be careful when you order, portions are huge. I am sure every steak is excellent in this restaurant. I had the one with the creole shrimp on top. You shall let your waiter which wine to choose when you order since this restaurant regularly gets very busy and you might not get your wine in time if you do otherwise. If you come here eat steak as you like, order wine together with your entree and listen to the recommendations of your waiter. You will not get disappointed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mixed Feelings: Great Food, Disappointing Experience We visited Soulgrass Steakhouse after seeing an online offer for two lunch entrees for $25. However, when we arrived, the waiter told us that the offer was for a different steakhouse, despite it being advertised on their website. After showing him the ad, he seemed unsure and said he needed to talk to his manager but never followed up. Instead, he steered us toward pricier options on the menu, and we ended up paying $29 per steak instead of the advertised $25 for two. The pushy upselling felt uncomfortable and misleading. That said, the food was genuinely delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and a real treat. The fries were also great, and overall, the quality of the food was excellent. The waiter was friendly, aside from the sales push, and the overall service was decent. It’s a shame that the confusion (or refusal) to honor the advertised promotion left a bad taste. It felt like a bit of a bait-and-switch situation. If it weren’t for that, this could easily have been a five-star review. Hopefully, they clarify their promotions and avoid this kind of confusion in the future.

My wife, and girlfriend shared the Range Rattlers, while I gobbled down a healthy portion of Cheese Fries. Tammy, my wife had an appletini, because of course she did, while Heather craved a Long Island Iced Tea. I had a Shiner because this is America. We all had salads with dressing on the side, and an extra dressing just in case we were feeling a bit naughty. For our main course I had the 16oz Pat’s Ribeye, while the ladies went for Maudeen’s Center cut filet. My steak was cook very well, and if it had not been for Tammy’s overindulgence of appletinis, I am sure they would have been fine as well. As it was, she was already three deep in Tiniland, and decided to be bit of a Karen. She sent her steak back because she said it was medium-rare, when she wanted it medium, and as I shook my head disapprovingly, the poor waitress had to deal with Tammy. Steaks finished, we decided to take a trip to flavor town, and order some cheesecake. It was delicious. I am sorry millennial waitress for my wife’s uncomfortable demeanor. Heather worried about you later, and I assured her you were ok. Thank you for the great service!

If I could give 0 stars or negative stars then I would. I will begin by saying that I came to pick up a couple of to-go orders as a rideshare driver. It took me about 8 minutes to get to this restaurant. As I enter the restaurant, 5 minutes of no acknowledgement or help from the restaurant staff. 10 minutes pass, and then they say their order receiver was not working. So basically 15-20 minutes in and they had no idea of my orders. I place the order as I usually am not supposed to, this is the customer and restaurant ‘s business, I am only there to pick up and deliver. 30 minutes pass food is not ready yet. Another 30 minutes pass, food was still not ready. Mind you this whole time the restaurant staff looked they were busy doing nothing. So when I receive the orders, they tell me “sorry for the wait.” So after placing the two orders, I waited for over an hour to receive both orders. There was no communication from the restaurant staff as to why it was taking long. Delivery orders through rideshare usually never take more than an hour, especially during weekdays when most restaurants aren’t busy. I have never even waited that long at the DPS or doctor’s office. Congratulations, This place takes the cake for the slowest service and nonexistent customer service I have ever experienced. Now I am about to get to the worst part. One of the customer’s orders were completely off! The customer yelled and shouted at me throughout the phone, and I tried to explain my situation with this restaurant and all the blame was put on me. Long story short, I could have lost my job due to the negligence and nonexistent customer service of this restaurant. To top it all off, I’m not the first person here who has had complaints about the quality of service of this place. If you are a rideshare driver, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Date of...

While the food was great, the service was the top 2 worst service times in my life. The waiter did not refill our water without me asking each time [mind you every other table had a pitcher] took away our appetizer [twice] and had to tell him we still want it, he never asked how the food tasted or if we need anything, I had to constantly keep getting his attention for small things since he only was at our table a total of maybe 3 minutes the entire time.

No pepper at the table, forgot a side salad completely, the bread that comes to the table was brought After he dropped bread at 2 tables that sat after us and he just shoved it down while at the table next to us...wow.

This guy was helping every table after us first, that is I literally almost cried by the end of the meal when the manager was coming around a few tables asking about the service because nothing is worse than being ignored!

This was our first night in Dallas ever and I work really hard so spending $ for this was just very depressing.

They did not COMP the salad he forgot as the other server who brought our our food said they would and had to tell the manager to please do so since our server forgot.

No apology ever from the server, that night there was a big table who all got separate checks [face palm] but the service level of everyone around me was still at least decent.

If you want to feel like a leper this is the place for you!

The only decency was the manager who minimally discounted our meal since the server did not inform of my error in ordering the steak platter which is apparently for lunch.

I have only ever left 3 very long bad reviews in my life sadly this is...

My family and I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant on both Christmas Day and New Year's Eve, and I can confidently say both visits were absolutely wonderful. A huge shoutout to our servers, Naomi (Christmas) and Colleen (NYE) , for their outstanding customer service. They were kind, attentive, and professional, even while managing the holiday rush with grace. Their warm and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home.

A special mention to the manager who stopped by our table on Christmas Day—it was such a lovely touch. He was personable, attentive, and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a great experience. Moments like that show how much this team values their customers, even on such a busy holiday.

The atmosphere was perfect for a family gathering—relaxed, welcoming, and full of good vibes. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish surpassing our expectations. And the leftovers? Somehow, they were even better the next day! On such a busy holiday, our visit truly felt like an answered prayer—delicious food, amazing service, great vibes, and the joy of spending quality time together as a family.

While there are more expensive steakhouses for those seeking a high-end experience (I'm a bougie girly, so I get it), this restaurant more than delivered for a fantastic, satisfying dinner. If you’re looking for a spot that combines excellent food, exceptional service, and a family-friendly atmosphere, especially on special occasions, this place is an excellent choice. We can’t...
