The food was phenomenal!!! But my experience was more than awful, I believe I was racially profiled by a fellow patron and the security upheld this violation and completely lied to us. On the evening of 6/28 me and a friend ate at the bar and ordered drinks. Other costumers at the bar were overly loud and quite obnoxious security watched them and said nothing but they were watching a sporting event it was disturbing but I let it go because of the vibes and loud music. Me and my friend wanted to sit outside on the patio and drink our drinks and vibe there. Upon walking outside there were 2 separate groups and a lone Hispanic lady drinking and smoking tobacco, we found a open seat and my friend lit a Sweet Black & Mild. Moments later the lone lady stood up from her drinks unfinished and I visually saw her walk inside to speak with the security. Security then proceeded to walk out to the patio b-lining to where we were sitting dramatically sniffing in the air as if humans have this dog-like smelling sense. He stops in front of our patio table and says, “you have to throw that out and leave that is illegal you can’t smoke that here.” We replied, “this is a black and mild it even has a plastic tip,” he then says “I can smell it.” My friend proceeded to show him the wrapper of the black and mild she placed in her bag. He then apologized and said “everyone on the inside was complaining that we were smoking weed on the patio.” I was disgusted because I don’t smoke weed and he lied to our faces about the complaint. We were 2 of the 3 black patrons occupying the patio. He then proceeded to dramatically sniff by the other patrons occupying the patio and only spoke to the other black female patron who was sitting with an older Caucasian male and said something in the lines of that’s what I was smelling and proceeded to walk back inside the establishment. She was smoking a cigarette and we could visually confirm that. The other group on the patio were Hispanic he said nothing to. We then finished our drinks paid our tab and left. I am a black male wearing dreadlocks with barrel style braids and my friend is an black female with black and red micro braids, I believe he expected the complaint to be true upon visually seeing who we were. We were highly offended and don’t consider patronizing...
Read moreOh my God you guys be careful if you go there one day and have a beer and was bored came by and was cleaning table and spilled my beerHe stated that it was his mistake and he will ask the waitress now. So when I receive my bill this will be it was still on it, I let my waitress now and she very nicely removed from my bill. When I got my bill I put zero dollars for the tip for my waitress, and I did advise her hey I’m gonna tip you cash becuse you did a lot today and I don’t want you to have to c Share. She happily agreed. So I’m waiting her to come back to the table so I can give her a tip in cash. And instead I’m approached by some same height as me Spanish Mail, coming at me being aggressive and cussing at me, I was severely fearing for my life because I did not know was going on, and I did not know why this person was attacking me. This mail continue tell me that I need to tip the waitress or else. Pretty much threatening me because he felt like I did not tip my Waitress. I advised him that because of that she will add with this bill beer that there was a discrepancy on the actual ticket about the tip. He continued to yell in my face that he did not know any discrepancy going on with any beer, he stated that the bus boy told him that my table we’re trying to get free beers so we would make up that he spilled a beer on us. I advised the “manager” to check the cameras for the bus boy spilling our beer. The manager refused and said no it’s your fault you did it whatever beer you got you better pay for or else. So I signed the receipt saying zero for the tip because I had already agreed to take my waitress in cash. So the aggressive manager ran up to me, pushed me, demanded that I give him tip money, and said that I was lying and then I was trying to...
Read moreWe went here for my husband’s 30th birthday last night and were treated horribly. They had no problem taking our $20 cover charge (we had 9 people in our group) but our waitress did not want to serve us. I opened a tab and ordered one drink while the rest of our group didn’t even get to place an order before she shoved my drink at me and told security she wanted us out. There was no explanation provided at all and my credit card was not returned to me. They put us out of the building before I was able to close my tab or see the charges. Since I refused to leave the door until having my property, the manager - a rude little man named Eric - tried to threaten me by telling me he would call the cops. It wasn’t until I called the police that the card was returned to someone in my party with two charges totaling roughly $80 (again, I ordered one drink). Although our party was diverse, I do feel like we were discriminated against. We did nothing but enter the facility and basically hold up a wall to try and stay out of the way. We were being mocked by some of the patrons as we were being kicked out and it was absolutely the worst experience we’ve ever had. I will never return to this place and I wish them nothing but what...
