Quality has dropped- do not order designers choice unless you want dead flowers in a depressing grouping.
I ordered two $100 florist choice to be delivered to an employee's home (she was ill) and the second for a large meeting at our office. The employee at home received a beautiful arrangement and was happy (second photo-colorful pretty arrangement).
The order received at the office was pathetic- gas station flowers looked fresher. ( Photo one) There is no way anyone would have paid $100 for the arrangement. I was shocked it made it out the door. I called and asked for a quality arrangement like the other employee received. The staffer advised a different employee had done the arrangement for the pretty arrangement.
I would guess revenge or payback was the motivation for the replacement order- it was worse with more dead flowers and resembled what you would find in the bargain bin at the grocery store for flowers already bloomed. Order three arrives and it is OK- again, not close to the quality of the home arrangement/past orders and would not sell for $100 in a display case at the storefront. In their defense, order three did arrive before the end of the day, I suspect it arrived so they could bill my card.
I paid a premium to recognize an employee who went above and beyond this year and did not want to give a "second best- OK arrangement". In the end I did not give the replacement flowers. I should have gone to whole foods after the first order arrived. I thought customer service skills would kick in and a nice replacement order would arrive….I was wrong.
The staff was awful , I have used them for years and this was the first complaint I lodged. They were defensive.
The second arrangement was sent in spite to "punish me" for complaining. I was told droopy/dying/already opened flowers were in style! I did not see any of this “style” on the webpage.
Photo one is the arrangement I sent back, photo two is the one we kept. They are not equal- buyer beware….you do not know what you will receive, the only certainly is poor customer service and $100 charge...
Read moreI'm so bummed about my experience today! My sister is new to Dallas, and had to put her beloved dog to sleep last night. I consulted online reviews and asked some Dallas friends who to use for an extra special flower delivery, and Dr. Delphinium Designs came up several times. I had a very easy and pleasant conversation to order the flowers - the woman who answered the phone was very nice and sweet and attentive. I'm a big fan of sending flowers, and always worry the card message won't be accurate, and she was very careful and detail oriented. The order came to $125 including tax and delivery, which is more than I'm accustomed to spending, but was not a problem for the quality I had every reason to expect. I liked their emailing system, which confirmed details of my order and let me know when it was delivered. The actual delivery just was NOT up to par! I've never used a flower delivery service in Dallas before, but I do order flowers in various cities somewhat frequently. The pictures I received from my sister's boyfriend (I hardly wanted to burden her with trying to get detailed shots of the arrangement!) showed a less-than-fresh bouquet. It was also much smaller than I was expecting for the price tag. The size of the arrangement was not anything I specifically addressed during my order, and a compact arrangement isn't inherently a problem for me, but to be small and have some wilted flowers and some too-opened roses as well just feels like a poor value. It is still, overall, a pretty arrangement (I'll try to attach photos to this review), but for MAYBE about $50 tops. I will likely not use this business in the future, and for the high price tag I felt that I should write this review to give some feedback to others about the overall value of...

Ordering flowers for our small wedding was quick and easy, and the associate at the store was very helpful in picking the right florals and accompanying ribbon types/colors based on the wedding theme. We ordered a bridal bouquet, three boutonnières, and 2 corsages.
Pickup was done by my dad a few hours before the ceremony start time, as it was recommended to pick them up as close as possible to the wedding time for optimal freshness.
The boutonnières and corsages were gorgeous, but what was supposed to be a bridal bouquet, trimmed and tied with pre-selected ribbon was just a bouquet of (untrimmed) roses, with nothing tying them together. My mom and mother-in-law ended up having to remove the ribbon from their corsages to tie around the roses, which also needed to be trimmed.
I walked down the aisle with a bouquet of flowers that looked like they belonged in a vase, not in the hands of a bride, and My mom and mother in law didn’t get to wear the corsages that were made for them.
After the wedding weekend, my mom called to share all of this, but a manager was unavailable. Instead of calling her back to rectify the issue, they credited her $50 and assumed that would make it better. Considering the corsages couldn’t be used at all and the bouquet was actually thrown together by my moms and not the flower shop, we feel taken advantage of and want the money back that we spent on the bouquet and corsages. Gorgeous flowers, but not the bridal bouquet I had imagined for my big day. (Not sure anyone wants to walk down the aisle with...
