I recently visited CAVA, and unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. I had heard good things about the fresh Mediterranean flavors, but the food just didn’t live up to the hype. I ordered a grain bowl with several toppings and proteins, but the overall taste was bland. The chicken was dry and lacked seasoning, and many of the vegetables didn’t seem particularly fresh. Even the sauces, which I was hoping would bring the bowl to life, were either too watery or lacked bold flavor.
Portion size was decent, but that’s about the only highlight. For the price, I expected something more vibrant and satisfying. The pita bread was cold and tough, which made it even less enjoyable.
The service was fine—staff was polite enough and the order came out fairly quickly—but the food quality just didn’t justify a return visit. With so many other options nearby offering fresher ingredients and more flavorful dishes, I can’t see myself coming back anytime soon.
I really wanted to like this place, but overall it felt like a missed opportunity. Hopefully, CAVA can improve its ingredient freshness and seasoning, because right now it’s not delivering the Mediterranean experience...
Read moreHaving heard all about CAVA being the "new Chipotle," I can confirm it is worth the hype especially if you love Mediterranean food. Clean atmosphere reminiscent of Chipotle with the familiar food line. Portions are generous, toppings plentiful. I got the chicken this time. You can get a variety of greens or grains for a base and add different sauces and pita crisps on top. Easily 2 meals for the average person and $11 for a build your own bowl! Great deal. I'm a big fan of the separate order of pita chips. They're fried and tbh too salty (really flavorful), but they are tasty and would recommend for a first time goer. And a big plus is I don't feel gross at the end of the meal! (Disclaimer I like to get a lot of veggies). Would def recommend everyone to come and jump on the hype train. It'll be...
Read moreI’m not typically the one to leave a bad review, but something needs to be done. The young man had no idea what rice they offered. When he asked the girl next to him she also had no idea, she was confused why I wanted to know the rice and made a face. Later, I ask for fresh peta chips, and he goes to the back to ask, and the young man comes out sweeping, and he was unresponsive. So at the point I say Nevermind. They seemed uninterested and too busy to help and provide standard quality customer service. I’m pretty sure the man in the back that was unresponsive was a manager. They are all young kids working, who just don’t seem to really want to be...
