Love it!
This review is for Edison’s (concert configuration) where we experienced the Candlelight Concert - Tribute to Adele.
This was our first time to Edison’s and our first time to a Candlelight Concert. I had no idea what to expect. It was really well done.
Finding Edison’s: It was easy. We just followed Apple Maps right to it.
Parking: They have a free lot and there is some free street parking. We arrived early and parked on the street in front of Edison’s.
Eats before the show: There are a few restaurants within 5 minutes of Edison’s. We’d never been to any of them, so we selected Off The Bone BBQ. It was great, fast and close.
Lobby / Waiting: We arrived early with Zone B seating. No one goes into the concert area early though. You may stand (there was no seating) in the lobby and wait. There is a restroom off the lobby. There was an old restored car in the lobby and Candlelight Concerts had a few cool displays.
Admission: We were admitted to the concert area about 15 minutes or so, prior to showtime.
Concert Area, Seating, Bar, Restrooms: Once ushered in, we were able to choose any seat in our zone. We were in the second row and had a great view of the performance. The seats were sturdy and made of wood. the performance was an hour long and my backside was starting to hurt by the end. I’d consider bringing a seat pad of some sort next time.
The bar was open and we grabbed cocktails. They also sell wine, sodas and water. All beverages could be paid by credit card or cash. For snacks, they had bags of chips and candy bars. Snacks were cash only.
Both a men’s and ladies room were open on one wall of the concert area.
Concert Performance / Acoustics / HVAC: The concert performance consisted of 4 people, each playing a single strings orchestra instrument. The room was dimly lit for the performance with just the LED candles. It looked great. The sound was good as well. While the room floor was polished concrete, it didn’t seem to have any echo at all. It was a warm night outside in late August but the air conditioning was working well. Should I return to Edison’s for another warm weather performance, I would bring a light jacket or wear a sport coat.
My overall impression of this evening was that it was great. Edison’s was modern, clean and setup well for this...
Read moreOur son got married at Edison's Dallas last Saturday, and the entire experience was simply amazing. Norman and Tiffany managed everything smoothly and professionally, making every aspect seamless.
Eddie Deen, the owner of the venue and the catering company Eddie Deen & Company, along with his daughter Raleigh, went above and beyond to ensure our event was extraordinary. Raleigh took charge from the start, and after meeting Eddie, it was easy to see where she learned her incredible attention to detail, empathy, and genuine care for people.
Edison's Dallas wasn't just a venue it was a complete, stress-free solution. They provided stunning floral arrangements, beautiful décor, delicious food, and even the wedding cake. Eddie Deen & Company's catering was fantastic, including a wonderful rehearsal dinner and an exceptional wedding meal featuring Mediterranean Chicken, Uptown Supper, and fresh mixed vegetables. They thoughtfully handled every detail, even adjusting the air conditioning specifically to preserve the flowers and providing a cozy bridal suite.
When unexpected challenges arose, Raleigh and Eddie responded calmly, making even major issues feel minor. At the last minute, when we realized we'd forgotten sparklers, Raleigh effortlessly found some for us, despite the odds. And when our baker had a sudden emergency just two days before the wedding, Raleigh stepped up confidently and produced a perfect cake in record time.
One of the most touching moments came when Eddie himself played piano at the ceremony because we couldn’t find another musician. He plays the piano too?! It was unreal!
Throughout the planning and event, Raleigh and Eddie never treated this as just another wedding. They listened carefully, showed genuine empathy, and made us feel uniquely special. Yet, we soon realized that this wasn't special treatment this is how they care for everyone who crosses their path. Every time we thought disaster had struck, they handled it with ease, as if it was just another typical day.
If you want an event filled with empathy, exceptional care, and unmatched customer service, we wholeheartedly recommend Edison's Dallas and Eddie Deen & Company. We are incredibly grateful to Eddie, Raleigh, and their entire team for creating a truly unforgettable wedding...
Read moreWe recently hosted a corporate event at a true Dallas staple - Edison's, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food which was catered by Eddie Deen's, was absolutely amazing—fresh, home-cooked, and thoroughly enjoyed by all our attendees.
The venue's built-in AV setup made our event seamless, and the layout worked perfectly for our needs. The main room was ideal for our general session, while the designated F&B space, spacious lobby for attendee check-in, and a large backroom—perfect as a green room or potential breakout space—gave us plenty of flexibility.
Parking was another plus, with 20 complimentary spots and two additional lots accommodating over 100 cars. The location, just outside of downtown, was central and easily accessible for our attendees while keeping us out of the congestion of the inner city.
A huge thank you to Tonya, Norman, and Kevin, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their hospitality and attention to detail truly made a difference. We highly recommend Edison's for any event, and catering from Eddie Deen's, and look forward to working...
