Meke The Salon — Local services in Dallas

I was instructed to book a consultation online (Booksy). I never received one. So I called the salon and asked if I could send pictures of my desired color by text messages since they were so busy. This was the first mistake. I paid for a consultation that I should've gotten before moving on to scheduling an appointment (a month out). I requested for Meke but I was told someone else would help me. Second mistake - I requested for Meke and that's who I should've gotten. I was there for almost 5 hours and didn't get what I wanted after 2 tries. I brought to their attention, they said come in to fix but would charge an additional charge. I said no to the additional charges and haven't heard from them since to make this right. Why would I pay more when I didn't get what I wanted the first time? I would've appreciated if you told me you could try at achieving my desired look. Or stated, you didn't specialize in ombre colors, OR just referred me out altogether. Give me an option, the fees aren't cheap. It's not ok to experiment on me 2 or 3 times. This was a learning lesson for me. The intake/consultation wasn't great at the beginning. I should've not gone and walked away losing the $75...

The owner was nice..she didn’t do my hair though.. but I came here and got a relaxer and cut and my hair has bene FALLEN OUT EVER SINCE I LEFT THIS SALON. My hair now falls out every single day literally every day ..I can’t even run my fingers through without strands and lots of them coming out ..I have to sleep with a silk scarf every day and all day even if I’m just lounging around bc my hair falls OUT ALL DAY….I got my hair done about 2 months ago and it still falls out …idk what that lady did to my hair or what perm they use or what they put in things but this is real bad …I’ll never walk in this shop ever again nor to mention she messed up and butchered the hair cut ..my hair is longer on one side I have to get it recut but I parent so much money on this I can’t fathom to spend that much money again fixing it …I mean a MESS ..beautiful salon though but these ain’t no professionals…I don’t even like to style my hair bc of the amount of hair that be in the comb it’s scary it’s like I have chemotherapy or something...

I don’t know where to start!! From the time you enter, I felt welcomed!! I got lost finding the salon since this was my first time. MeMe stayed on the phone with me until I found the entrance and guided me where to park!! Felicia is an angel!! She has a caring, soft demeanor!! She and I talked as if we’ve known each other for years!! MeKe OMG!! I can’t speak enough about her!! She’s so down to earth!! She really knows about healthy hair!! She will tell you what’s best and what’s not!! I insisted on getting color and she fussed at me.. lol.. because she wants me to reach my goal of healthy hair first and then we can “ think” about color!! I love her for that! She’s absolutely amazing!! We hugged and talked noise( jokingly) as if I was her client for 20 years!! I’m big on reviews and I believe in giving people their flowers!! These ladies are amazing!! Everyone is friendly!! Even the clients that came to other stylist!! I loved my experience!!! THANK YOU...
