AMAZING!!!

I found this salon after doing a lot of research on salons in my area, as I am VERY picky about salons and nail techs. I had previously been going to another salon in Carrolton but was no longer pleased with the service or the 25 minute drive from my apartment. Elite Nail Spa was only a 10 minute drive, and I decided to try them out for the first time yesterday for dipping powder and a design.

I specifically requested Soy, the owner, as my technician after seeing so many amazing reviews about her. I have to say, SHE LIVES UP TO THE HYPE!!! She was kind, professional, personable and we had a great time laughing and talking. She even explained to me the benefits of doing acrylics instead of dipping powder moving forward, so I took the chance and LOVE my nails!!! I came in with a picture from their Instagram (_elitenailspa) and asked for the same thing, and she did it beautifully! She listens to what you want, gives her professional expertise and makes sure your nails come out beautifully! She also incorporated REAL Swarovski crystals into my design, which I've never had before and are MUCH higher quality than the rhinestones you typically get from nail salons. She's creative and passionate about what she does. If you don't know exactly what you want, she'll help! She even said I could come in, tell her what colors I'm thinking of using, and let her come up with a design, which was exciting for me because sometimes I know what colors I want, but I don't know what to do with them!

The salon was GORGEOUS, which is another main reason why I went after seeing pics online. Everything is pink (including the staff uniforms!) and super cute. It's very clean and well kept. With how well Soy runs her salon, you would think she's been running the shop for years and not just barely a year! The rest of the staff was super king and friendly, and you can tell they prioritize an excellent experience for their customers.

BUYER BEWARE!!! This establishment is under new management so the 4.5 STAR REVIEWS IS from the MGMT BEFORE. IF you look CLOSELY ALL the latest reviews (couple months) are from the Management NOW and they are ALL BAD REVIEWS. They are USING the older reviews from previous MGMT. you can even see in the pictures of year or older reviews how nice the place USED to be to look BUT trust me that’s NOT how it looks now. Extremely Misleading/Misrepresenting.

This place needs so much attention like maybe get a cleaning crew to come in and do a deep clean it just felt dirty and not only that the air conditioner was not working which made me turn right around and walk out the door. It’s old and run down and needs a major facelift!!!!

Horrible!!! The establishment is run down and not clean. No wonder no customers were in there the air conditioning was not working and they later tried to blame it on another customer saying they were cold so they had to turn it up yeah right and they tried to turn it back down for me but clearly it wasn't working. I shouldn’t have paid for the little service that I had done (soak off) because it was so hot in there. The female in the front was very pushy and I finally had to tell her I don’t have to give you anymore reasons as to why I’m not happy she kept pressing!!! So Unprofessional!!!! This was the worst experience. I stopped in because I got a massage next door. I went to make an appointment, but the only appointments they had was an hour later. So I said, I'll go in as a walk-in when I went inside it was, I'm assuming the owner, and another young lady. I wanted a basic pedicure and a basic manicure. Well, the young lady said she needed to go. But the assumed owner said that she can go ahead and hurry up and do it. That's when I should have left. She started the pedicure, and the water kept cutting off when she tried to take the hose out. Something was wrong with the machine. As of yet, the bubbles still had not started in the pedicure bowl. Well, I barely got a pedicure. She barely cut the cuticles from my nails. She did not put a base coat of polish on my toenails. Also, they could barely find anything in the shop. She ended up putting gel top coat on regular polish because she says she couldn't find the regular top coat. When she did my nails, which was supposed to be a manicure, I didn't get a base coat either. She just changed the polish. My nails look terrible. I posted a picture of my nails. The 2nd day and it's already coming off. I definitely wouldn't go back here. I'm disappointed in myself that I actually pay for...
