Lake Highlands North Recreation Center — Attraction in Dallas

I was there today for an event that a private organization set up. I didn’t know where in the park it was taking place. The staff was very rude when I asked… they said “oh it’s right over there.” I asked how far and the tall African American man “it’s literally 200 yards away dude!” I said thank you and responded with calling me “Bro”. I am a disabled veteran and I have never been to that part of town before. Also, I’m not his friend or his brother. I am deserving of respect. He is a public servant as an employee of my city! Learn some manners young man. Get some decent staff...

This is a good size rec center. They have a huge basketball court and A GYM inside. Now I have to say I have a membership at LA Fitness right down the street but the gym in there is pretty nice and they have quite a lot of equipment. The times I've been its empty. Obviously the only down side for me is no kids club. lol. But if you have some time away from the kids and are looking for a nice little workout at a gym thats damn near empty...this is your place to go. Oh and I forgot .....you CANT beat that price if you live in the...

This is what our kids are forced to do because they cannot go inside to play basketball they refuse to let our kids have a place to play instead they would rather they have nothing to do while they wait on their parents when you call the city they tell you everything is fixed and the kids are allowed to play only to find that to be false what part of the community are they serving if you take a close look at the pictures there is only minorities why are they the only ones excluded...
