Escapology is the premiere escape room experience in Danbury. I had been planning on proposing to my now fiancé at a different escape room, where we had our first date and I was ghosted during the planning process only to finally be told they were closing for renovations. Escapology came through for me in the 11th hour and positively met and exceeded my expectations on short notice. The management; Tiffany and Brielle were so accommodating and worked with me to create a truly memorable experience. I was given a tour of the site beforehand to which they offered suggestions of rooms that might be a good fit for the plan. They helped me hide the ring in a lock box in the room that I had the code for in advance. They created a custom final clue so I could propose at the right time. Afterward they had flowers and a card for my fiancé in their party room with a certificate to return. I cannot rave about them enough and I will be forever grateful for the part they played in our happy event. They clearly put thought, money and detail into their rooms. They are without a doubt the best quality I have experienced and with very clever puzzles. Their lobby area has games while you wait and a bar with drinks themed to the rooms and a very clever dungeons and dragons based game where you take your chances and roll and get a custom shot based on the number you land on. First time at Escapology, and it was nothing short of an incredibly fun and memorable experience! We booked the Star Trek Discovery room and after completing it, our incredible game host Justin helped us book a second game in the Mansion Murder room. We then had the privilege of test playing their newest room, Who Stole Mona, which really gave our problem-solving skills a challenge! All of the rooms were beautifully designed, creating a unique ambiance for each room to set the stage for the game. The entrance lobby is decked out with great decor, comfy furniture, and a great snack bar! The puzzles were challenging without being frustrating, and the satisfaction you get from solving one is addicting! If we needed a hint, it provided just the right amount of information to solve the puzzle ourselves without giving the solution away.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. After the games, Justin, as well as Delvin and one of the lovely managers, took the time to talk to us about the rooms, asking what we liked, what was challenging, etc. They were friendly, approachable, extremely helpful, and had great energy!

If you’re looking for an adrenaline-pumping, brain-teasing adventure, look no further! I recently had the pleasure of tackling the Vegas Hangover with a group of friends, and it was hands down one of the best escape rooms we’ve ever done.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was immersive. The set design was top-notch—every detail was carefully thought out and perfectly on theme. It genuinely felt like we had stepped into another world. The puzzles were clever and varied, striking a great balance between challenging and doable. Nothing felt random; everything had a purpose and tied back into the storyline beautifully.

The game master Nathaniel was fantastic—friendly, professional, and stayed completely in character, adding to the overall experience. They gave just the right amount of help when we were stuck, without spoiling the satisfaction of solving things ourselves.

What really set this escape room apart was the storytelling. The plot unfolded as we progressed, with exciting twists that kept us hooked right until the end. The final puzzle was especially satisfying—clever, dramatic, and a perfect payoff to the whole experience.
