Main Street Muncheez — Restaurant in Danbury

Stopped in for dinner and had a great experience! Got the chicken platter and the chicken gyro with masala fries. They accidentally made us a small fry instead of a large, which we didn't even notice since the small is pretty large anyway, but they ended up making us a large in addition to the small they already gave us! The chicken was super tender and everything was flavorful and fresh. The masala fries are very thin and have a great flavor. The portions are very large for the price and we only waited a few minutes for it to be ready. Will be back to try some more of the menu!

I was talking to a friend and mentioned I was hungry and had the feel for lamb over rice. The only problem was the only lamb over rice I would get was in Waterbury. And I'm in Danbury. But, I did not feel like taking the drive that day. Then my friend had mentioned a food truck on main st. And asked me if I've tried it before. Of course I was like NO. Where is it? He told me the location and I immediately looked it up on Google and drove to main st. And I tried Muncheez for the first time. I was on cloud nine. The amount, the flavor, the price alone! Went here for the first time the other night and got the chicken/lamb combo over rice. If you like New York City halal street food you won’t be disappointed with what Muncheez is serving right here in Danbury, CT. Everything was super authentic from the chicken/lamb to the rice to the white sauce and hot sauce. On top of their food being amazing, the people are very nice as well; a great family operation. I’m sure I’ll try more of their delicious looking menu items but I certainly will be back for many more combo over rice platters. In fact, waiting for them to open up at 11 so I can...
