What is the best customer service in the world?
Think about that for a moment.
You are in a tight spot, you call multiple vendors. The shop you have been going to for 15 years don't have the time to help you or are too faraway.
My car had been totaled. And it was faraway from home in Salem, MA. It had very expensive speakers and amplifier which I had to remove before it was sent to salvage.
I called everyone I knew. I was desperate to get my stuff off the car. I talked to some people I could barely understand. I called a shop where some weird music was being played as their ring tone.
Auto Sound saved my life!
I had given up on good customer support in this world. Whether you pay $1k per month or $70k per month I have seen some bad customer support.
I can tell you these guys rank high up there with the best of the best. I can give you names of some big corporate businesses where no matter how much money you throw at them you get bad support.
This is how customer support should look like and I can tell you there were the best people I have ever talked to about anything, anywhere.
There was some real empathy for my situation. They went above and beyond. Well beyond above and beyond.
If I am spending $100 on anything, after this experience I would like it to go to these folks.
At the end of the day, it does not matter what they are selling and which brands they deal with. These people will look after you with the kind of empathy you probably only see from close family.
Don't take your money elsewhere. If you have anything to do with anything in cars, you won't get better looked after anywhere else.

Read moreI had a remote starter installed in 2016 in my Honda Pilot. It worked flawlessly. The ignition lock cylinder finally gave up and I had to have it replaced at Honda North. The very next time I tried to use the remote start, it didn't work. The doors unlocked, the engine cranked, but nothing else. I called my service rep at Honda North and he said I should contact the installer of the system. So...I drove over the Auto Sound to arrange an appointment for troubleshooting. I drove up and one of the owners greeted me and asked how he could help. I explained my situation and showed him the original paperwork I had for the install. He asked for my keys and said he would have a technician look at it right then.
So....They got the car to remote start but it turns out that the parking lights didn't work, which used to accompany the remote start. The technician found some melted going to the "brain box" of the remote start unit. The owner came back out and asked me a few questions and then showed me the damaged parts. I asked what would cause that, and he stated it had to be a power surge, which points to Honda North being the cause.
The owner said he would replace the brain box and repair the burned wires to get things working again AT NO CHARGE (What? No! Really?) Total time for all of this was about 20 minutes. I offered to pay him and he would not accept anything. So, I decided to leave a review. There aren't many companies that have done anything remotely (heh) like this. Read moreHad a great experience here, just got a new (used) car and wanted to upgrade the car stereo to something with wireless Android Auto but was a little lost in which model to get. Ron was super helpful in presenting some solid options without making it overwhelming, he priced out all the parts and labor that would be necessary to install it including hooking up the steering wheel control buttons and the rear camera. ALSO, I had been playing with the idea of installing leather seats which is also a service they provide, so Ron took me through my options in a way that helped me clarify for myself exactly what I wanted and got me very excited to proceed. I dropped my car off the night before my appointment and left my keys in the key drop, they were able to get the new stereo and the leather seats (including leather to replace the cloth covering on the center console and the door armrests) completed in one day. Another employee there took time with me to walk me through the new stereo, make sure my phone was all set up and connected to it, and spent a good amount of time helping me calibrate the guidelines on the rear backup camera.
