It is a beautiful store and I will go again and again, but they are still suffering from being new. I selected an item. The inventory said there were three available at the location, but none could be found. The sales staff said they are not permitted to sell items that are on the floor. They also said they cannot order anything for the store…corporate does that. They could have an item sent to me but it would take about a week. Thanks to the very patient salesman, Barlow we did find one of the items very high up on a shelf and with a manufacturer’s label, which did not match the Sur La Table description. The manager of the store was kind of throwing up her hands, so i gather there have been a lot of items listed on the inventory, which could not be found by the new employees.
