Cosmo’s Bagels & Cafe — Restaurant in Darien

I recently visited this bagel place and was absolutely appalled by the experience. The service was horrendous—while I was standing there waiting to place my order, the woman behind the counter just stared blankly at the takeout bags instead of acknowledging me. Not only was she rude, but the entire staff seemed completely uninterested in actually serving customers.

To top it off, I paid a ridiculous $17 for two bagels—utterly overpriced for what was essentially bland, forgettable food. Bagels are perfectly sized, the food was delicious and well priced. Their Fresh pressed juices were refreshing and extremely flavorful (with the added health benefits from all the vegetables), while the pastries can easily stand head to head with any professional bakery around. With both a wonderful atmosphere and an above friendly staff, Cosmo’s bagels is a great café for people to stop by and check our if ever in the area. Finally found my bagel spot!!!! As a New Yorker, I have searched high and low in CT for anything that compares. I can confidently say these bagels are perhaps..... the best bagels I've ever had.

Also the decor was gorgeous, the girl at the register was incredibly helpful, and the owner was so friendly + welcoming!
