I like the food but I would not come here again. Looking at the menu and prices I would have expected a much different vibe. It gave off cafeteria vibes to me. It was so loud and not because of music but I think poor acoustic design. Cheap tables and chairs - all night one of our two tables pushed together had a short leg and it bothered one of our guests all night. Where we seated felt like the middle of the floor as people bumped into my chair as they passed by all night. The wait staff service level is very mid in terms of delivery and presentation where it seems like it's a restaurant filled with busboys masquerading as servers only focused on clearing plates but not also cleaning up the table. No personality or presentation to indicate they were trained as servers. Finally, there were SO many children. Why so many children with this menu? . I was there with work collegaues for dinner but I regret the choice even though the actual food is good and above average. The menu and prices do not align with the overall ambiance unfortunately which is the reason I will not return. I would order to-go though to avoid this. A place like this, I think should put more effort to experience especially given its location. Overall,...

on 4/27/24 I ordered 2 pasta fagiole soups, 1 tuna tartar $18 and lobster cobb salad $31. Soup was not the greatest. the shell pasta was swollen meaning it had been sitting and sucked up all the broth. Note I live within 5 minutes so no excuse for such. Tuna tartar was warm, off in flavor and definitely off in color. One bite told me not right. Lobster cobb had no dressing. i get they want to give you balsamic dressing but i asked for caesar. shame on me not checking but LUIS the manager said he packed it personally. where did the dressing go LUIS? I call the next day, as restaurant was closed and Luis apologized and said he would call me Monday. Today is 5/3/24 and I had to call him. He said take it up with Uber (i ordered through them but I picked it up). Wow. I don't do a lot of ordering out and will never step foot in there again except when i see friends who don't know the experience to get out. Shame on you Molto for not making it right when you were...

2.5/5 - Ehhhhhh, it used to be good. I loved this place when it first opened but the food quality has plummeted in the last couple of months. We used to go at least once a week (yes, it was that good!). The food used to be fresh and well-made. I loved their Arancini, Lobster Fettuccini and Blood Orange Margarita. Now the Arancini are smaller and taste stale and the Lobster Fetticcini has little to no lobster and it doesn’t taste fresh at all. The straw that broke the camel’s back was Mother’s Day brunch. I honestly left embarrassed having been the one to recommend going to there. The quality and presentation of the food was horrible! Besides being the most basic food I’ve ever seen, each brunch plate came with a side of fruit but they put the fruit salad right on the plate so we ended up with soggy waffles and toast and warm fruit. I ordered the lobster Benedict that day. It tasted like they dumped some frozen Lobster on an English muffin with a side of...

I’ve been dining at Molto’s first location in Fairfield for years since I was in college, so I was excited to try their second location in Darien Commons! The restaurant is absolutely stunning and has the same menu we know and love. You can’t go wrong with any of their homemade pasta dishes or pizza, and you could make a meal out of their appetizers, like Italian tapas style. The short rib was cooked perfectly in our risotto, and the bolognese sauce for my pasta was delicious. Fantastic drinks too. Servers were very attentive and food came out quickly. We went early on a Sunday afternoon and it was a wonderful experience.
