I took a chance and walked up the stairs that lead to this Art Gallery. I had the pleasure of meeting Pamela the owner (pictured). She is the sweetest person!
I have visited twice and as a Google Contributor, I pay attention to details. I watched as she engaged with people, curious folks that come to see this gallery & perhaps just browsing but she is just so thoughtful & sweet with everyone. You can’t help but feel inspired!
The artwork is just beautiful. I brought home her Frida Kahlo drawing. I’m going to put it up in my home office. She did this as a single continuous contour Line portrait. Pamela began doing drawings in 1996 as a single mom teaching art to children.
For the portrait, she used a fine point black pen and began at the nose of the subject, and did not stop or lift her pen until the end at her signature. She is a genius!

If I could give her gallery more than five stars, I would. I’m adding her gallery to my Josephine Local Guide website that features top Charlotte destinations also shared on...
Read morePamela Quarles-Adams Fine Art Gallery was beautiful upstairs, and I am just as excited about the space she has recently moved to directly below. The energy, the color, the personality of the gallery, reflecting this wonderful owner-artist’s own character, is rich and exciting. The transfer of the splashing images downstairs on Main Street in Davidson makes any looker, including me, happy and joyful. I was so fortunate to have had my Davidson book launch of my second memoir in Pamela’s space, and I love returning often to see what she has going on now. She is an absolute joy to meet, and it is always fun to enter her gallery which offers something new that will thrill the senses. If you are in Davidson, North Carolina, step inside the front door of Pamela’s Quarles-Adams Fine Art...
Read moreI was walking past the gallery and decided to peek in. I met the most delightful person – Pamela. She greeted me with such light, that we began a conversation that lasted for over an hour. The gallery’s owner showed me around this beautiful space and we both realized we had much in common, including our name.
Pamela curated pieces from other artist, but I was most interested in what she has created out of her own upstairs studio.
I plan to come back with my husband so we can decide between a few pieces of hers. But I also plan to attend her up-and-coming...
