Where do I start?! My goodness this place was absolutely amazinggg! I have a wheat/gluten allergy & it's super hard to eat out for fear of getting sick. But gave this place a shot, crossed my fingers & enjoyed the heck out of everything we had. We did online ordering which was super convenient being a family of five. The little online pick-up door option was cute & neat.

We got the white bean hummus sandwich, two cornmeal fried shrimp sandwiches, all on gluten free bread. Then bacon with pimento cheese on GF cornbread, which was HUGE & my 9 year old ate almost every bit of it. A few GF brownies, a sugar cookie & a molasses cookie, both gluten free. A fruit cup & several lemonades. Every single thing was absolutely delicious!!! The sandwiches, the to die for brownies & the molasses cookie, which was mine, that I was excited to get & didn't share! No guilt either, ha. The fruit cup was fresh & the lemonade was too.

Thank you for considering food allergies & dietary needs. Can't wait to go back!!

The Pickled Peach is a cozy, charming little spot right in downtown Davidson, just across from CVS and near Summit Coffee. It’s got a really nice local vibe, especially in the summer months when the outdoor seating is open and the farmers market is happening right next door on Saturday mornings — it’s a perfect combo.

They serve sandwiches, salads, coffee (espresso, cappuccino), beer, and I believe they also offer wine. It’s a great place to grab something casual for lunch or even a light dinner. When I say “breakfast,” don’t expect full breakfast platters, but it’s still a solid morning stop — especially for a coffee and something fresh.

Just a heads-up: • Their hours can be a bit confusing, so it’s always a good idea to double-check if they’re open. • Parking might be a little tricky depending on the day and time, but totally worth it once you’re there.

The place is very friendly, locally loved, and an awesome addition to the Davidson downtown vibe. I definitely recommend checking it out — especially on a...

Unfortunately after my most recent visit, I've finally vowed to never return. I tried Pickled Peach many times and really wanted to like it! Two stars because the food quality is definitely fresh and tasty. Lack of the remaining three stars because: it is so expensive for what you actually get! I got one of their $10 salads once, and it was tiny. I most recently had a $9 turkey sandwich that had BARELY any meat on it. It was essentially sourdough bread with one thin slice of turkey and a tiny bit of avocado and tomato. Again- the taste is good, but for what you are paying, the amount you get is absurd. I've finally had to write this place off because when I pay anywhere from $12-15 with tax and tip for a lunch, I'm at least expecting it to fill me up. Unfortunately, a "meal" here never accomplishes that. My advice - try Flatiron or Davidson Ice House instead, that's where I'll be next time. If they ever decide to up their portion sizes or lower their prices, I'll be back...

Have driven past several times and said need to try that place. But generally have a car or suv filled with stuff and need to get somewhere else….WELL I finally stopped. YUMMY! The store is filled to overflowing with customers and products. Had a shrimp sandwich and the bride had a salad. Two ginger ales (one hot and one nah) and a marshmallowy peanut butter and chocolate treat. Food was amazing. Great flavors real plates, silverware and cloth napkins. This was a great treat. Absolutely make time and enjoy plenty of outdoor or indoor seating. Staff was quick and friendly and brought your food outside to your table.

This has been one of my favorite places in the town of Davidson since we moved here. I also love the little grocery area. We’re always popping in for the Duke’s sour dough bread. The brownies are decadent. Even the gluten free treats have been amazing.! When I want lunch, my go-to has been the falafel salad however the sandwiches are good, too. They could use a bit more meat on some of the sandwiches (my husband loves New York deli’s & they pile meat “high” & a bit more servings of the sides would be nice, too. Charge more if you need to. He says he is “Willing to pay.” Go big!
