This is OK for a stroll, and would be wonderful if it weren't for the 6 lane I-77 less than a mile across the water. But towns tend to put pocket parks in the most undesirable areas. The town tries to take care of it, but there are sections where it's too muddy to walk and the paths won't go. It has these exercise contraptions scattered around, but never seen anyone use them. And the picnic table is nice, except for the roaring traffic. If you lived there, or passing through looking for a picnic spot, it's better than an Interstate rest stop or a strip mall parking lot. Read moreParham Park is located between Lake Park Drive and Lake Davidson in Davidson NC. It's a small wooded area nestled between the two. There is a picnic table and a grill near the lake. You can find a multi-station exercise workout along the path. There is also a play area for the little ones.The park is small. Just across the lake lies the interstate. Don't expect a quiet interlude. Keep in mind that Davidson has a six mile greenway path with connectors that leads to the West Branch Nature Reserve near Shearer Road.
