The staff at the Davidson location are fun, friendly, and so totally accommodating and cool. On multiple occasions, personal staff recommendations and food descriptions encouraged me to try new menu items. Today, I ordered a Sabor Margarita for the first time. It's wonderful! Fresh, cool, and not too sweet.
Also! The location, directly across the street from Hop & Vine allows us to have a lovely collaborative food and drink experience. Order chips and salsa (and yucca fries!). Then share your delicious plunder with a frosty glass of beer or sparkling prosecco (on tap!) in the outdoor courtyard-style patio at Hop & Vine.
Businesses like these, in mixed use spaces within Davidson, build all kinds of wonderful relationships. Thank you Sabor, for being part of such a vibrant community. Your Davidson team is top-notch.

Read moreI am from Miami and was visiting the Davidson area. I am very familiar with authentic latin food. I decided to give this place a try. The menu is a bit limited. First of all, the employee taking the order, didn’t speak any Spanish which I found odd for a Latin cafe. We all decided to try the elote, which was good, and the chicken arepas. They had a nice presentation but the chicken was cold. We sent it back to warm it up, but they were unable to as they don’t have a microwave and had to remake them! The staff just looked at each other like they had no idea what to do! This took over 15 min to wait for a new order, which is RIDICULOUS! They put some type of red sauce in it, that made it runny and ultimately a soggy arepa! It would have been much better without that sauce. I was very disappointed with food and service, will not return. I hope the owner selects a better staff to take care of...
Read moreThe food is not only terrible but the prices are ridiculous. I’d like to state that regular steak street tacos no matter what state you’re in are always $1 on the low end to $3.50 on the high end. This place has the nerve to charge you $5.50 for one bland steak taco. These tacos consist of meat, raw onion, and cilantro on a corn tortilla. That’s all that’s in a steak street taco yet Sabor feels that $5.50 is an appropriate amount to pay. I could possibly get over the ridiculously high cost if the tacos were amazing but they are far from it. The meat is flavorless, the tortilla dry and they don’t even include hot sauce to make their old dried out beef jerky tasting tacos go down your throat easier. Maybe they’re hoping that people in NC have never ordered authentic tacos and don’t know the going rate for them??? Do yourself a favor and choose one of the other 50+ Mexican places...
