The printing department at this location has always been great for the last few years I have been going there, but I guess its because I always deal with one particular employee who does an amazing job in helping me print what I need to print. Today she wasn't there and the employees that were there had no desire in helping me whats so ever and kept pushing me over to the self serve printing area. So a picture that typically costs me under a dollar to print cost me over 3 dollars because they made me print it at the self service area and then I still had to go to them because I needed it to be 5 x 7 not 8.5 x 11 that the self printing area only let's you print. I have never had this issue and I hope someone talks to these employees so that they are a little more helpful and just show a little more eager to want to help customers and not just push them away to a self service machine. From now in I will just wait for the employee that I always deal with and I don't see her I will walk right back out the door. There is something about poor customer service that rubs me the wrong way and if I were to treat any of my clients the way they treated me today I would be very disappointed in myself. My brother in law is in the corporate office for office depot and I will inform him as well to the poor customer service that these employees gave me today because there was no excuse. We are all dealing with this pandemic in different ways and should be extra careful and sensitive when interracting and dealing with customers. I'm not sure if this will really get anywhere other than just a review but I really hope that someone coaches these employees a little better to want to help. The lack of Customer Service was deplorable. I was picking up a package for a customer this evening. I hate to have to describe him by appearance because I believe that lacks decorum but I was in a rush and didn’t get a chance to get his name. He was a Latin male with glasses, maybe 50-55 years old. This occurred at about 6pm this evening. Anyway, the package was almost bigger than me. At first, he pointed to the package on the ground as though he wanted me to pick it up, so I looked at the package too. He told ME to go and get a cart so he can put the package on the cart. He struggled to load it onto the cart and he’s a man and didn’t even OFFER to load it into my car being that I’m a woman. I couldn’t believe it. If he could barely load it, how did he expect me to do it on my own. In the end, I had to seek help from a stranger outside to load the package because he did not help load it into my car at all. I will be uploading a review to every site that will let me because this should not have happened. I knew the experience was going to be bad when I walked in and asked the staff where the pick up area was and no one answered me. Read moreMy second experience worse then my first. My first experience I was left lacking. Trying to find an odd item in the store and seemed like I had to browse and walk around for 15 minutes before I could find anyone that would assist me. I give moments the benefit of the doubt though and returned a second time. Second experience, asked an employee about services and he walked away from me. I kept following him to the back of the store before I finally said, ‘yo man are you going to help me’? He’s response was he needed to go talk to his manager in the back first. As though I was on his waiting list and had to follow him around with no explanation. I walked away from him and his response was, ‘whatever’. When I went to ring up later, a customer was having a card problem and was being assisted by a cashier and a manager. This was taking a long while. 5 minutes plus. Standing in line to my right behind the counter was 5 plus employees, never looking up, not realizing a line was forming and people were getting irritable. I finally said, ‘hey can anyone help ring me up’? One lady looked up finally and saw two people helping the lady with the bad card and said, “there’s two people available right there’! I and about four other people just sighed in line and laughed so she motioned for a younger woman to check me out. She was nice. But on a whole, customer experience is horrible here.
