I was genuinely looking forward to trying this new establishment, but unfortunately, my experience with the front-of-house staff left much to be desired. While I would like to acknowledge the one gentleman who eventually assisted me, he was courteous and attentive; the overall service was disappointing.

It was disheartening to observe guests who were seated 20 minutes after me receiving their meals well before mine arrived. Throughout my visit, only the aforementioned gentleman made any effort to attend to my needs. The women managing the front desk did not engage or offer assistance, which gave the impression of disorganization and neglect.

First impressions are essential in the hospitality industry, and the lack of attentiveness from the host staff detracted significantly from what could have been a great dining experience. Judging by the dishes I saw served to other tables, the kitchen appears to deliver high-quality food. However, I strongly recommend that the management reassess and improve the service standards at the front of house to ensure future guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment...

I learned about Francisca few weeks ago while trying to find a well rated place to invite a friend in the Miami area, so it was the Doral one, looked at the menu reserved but has to cancel after! I bookmarked the (very clear and attractive) website and saw they had one much closer to me @ Davie and flagged it as ‘Places to go’ and i do no regret it! We went yesterday to the Davie one and can confirme!!! Excellent food, very good service, value for the price, nice ambience, the location and setting!!! In general a great experience. We only ate shareable dishes, you have to have arepitas, queso de mano al carbon, patacones and parrillita mixta (Francisca)… a great combination of Venezuelan dishes with a touch of Colombian, good portions and great flavors! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and taken care of. Franciscas has such a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the smell of the food alone is enough to make your mouth water. We ordered the chicken, and honestly, it was some of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly seasoned, juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into their cooking.

But what really made our experience stand out was the service. Adriana was our server, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was so kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She made us feel like we were dining at a friend’s house, not just a restaurant. Her positive energy and great attitude made a big difference in our visit.
