Walking into Ceviche 595, you immediately sense you're in for something special. The ambiance hums with a warmth that whispers, "You're home now—but with much better food." Our experience was further elevated by the attentive care of Don Luis Alberto, a host so charming and dedicated that one suspects he moonlights as a magician, given his uncanny ability to make your meal feel like a perfectly orchestrated symphony.
We began our culinary journey with the jalea, a medley of perfectly fried seafood that tasted as though it had been harvested mere moments ago. The freshness was palpable, each bite a testament to the chef's mastery. This was not just seafood—it was an ode to the ocean.
Next came the lomo saltado and its decadent cousin, lomo saltado with huancaína spaghetti. The former was a textbook example of how stir-fried beef, onions, and tomatoes can transcend their humble origins when treated with respect and a touch of culinary wizardry. As for the latter—what can one say about a dish that marries the robust flavors of lomo saltado with the creamy decadence of huancaína sauce? It’s like Peru’s greatest hits in one harmonious plate.
The food wasn’t just good—it was conversation-stopping. Plates were polished, forks clattered against empty dishes, and all one could muster was an awed, “Wow.”
But it wasn't just the food that stole the show. Don Luis Alberto himself deserves a standing ovation. His service was impeccable, his enthusiasm infectious. He didn't just serve us; he orchestrated our experience with the skill of a maestro, ensuring that every detail was perfect.
Ceviche 595 isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Peruvian cuisine, served with heart, soul, and a dash of flair. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur of ceviche or a curious newcomer, this is a place you simply must visit. And if you’re lucky, you’ll be treated to the unforgettable hospitality of Don Luis Alberto—because, trust me, it’s as much a part of the experience as the food itself.

Read moreIt’s very unfortunate that the service has declined so heavily. It took 3 days for me not to get a simple refund. They only blamed me for them forgetting my white rice for an order i placed to go while inside the restaurant and i then waited inside my car for 15 minutes which wasnt bad. I drove home to find they forgot the rice. When i called the first night of my order mishap they told me there’s nothing they could do since im home already. That’s it no offer for credit. More so it was my fault i didn’t check. I got angry and was gonna post a bad review but reflected on it. And they called me later to tell me i had to drive all the way back to the restaurant because they had to refund me cash but i paid with credit. I decided i would call the next day and spoke to the owner whose name i forget because i wanted to speak someone who could actually help me. My order was simple a lomo saltado and arroz chaufa with steak. They forgot the rice for an order i waited inside may car after paying and leaving 18% gratuity on a $45 order. I went out of my way to not leave a bad review and try to work it out with a higher up. Not only did The owner not know how to work his system he then told me that i was unreasonable for refusing a refund through a 3rd party service like Zelle after waiting 3 days for the manager to areive and be able to also not work the system. It’s really unfortunate that over a side of forgotten white rice not only do they lose a customer who’s been going since the last 3 remodels of the interior which i think is about 6 years or so. They also receive a 1 star for trying to talk over me while on the phone and a complete charge back for my meal. Next time blame your system, staff, and poor execution than blame your customer. This was all spoken in Spanish too so non Spanish...
Read moreFood is great but the wait staff & the manager/owner don't really care for their patrons. They're not humble or greatful that we choose to spend our valuable time and money at their establishment. They dont believe in wearing masks. The manager/owner doesnt wear one (i visited them this evening and he didnt have one on, then quickly put one on when I entered, then took it off as he spoke with an employee), and this translates into employees either not wearing one or wearing the mask incorrectly (nose sticking out and letting the mask drop down their face as they speak to you). When the employees interact with you, they just have a rude energy to them. I'm from the Caribbean (Dominican) and my fellow Caribbean/Latins know we have a keen sense in detecting negative and fake people. If you happen to visit this place, your see what i mean.
Ive visited this place three times in the last few months and it will certainly be my last. There are a few other Peruvian restaurants with great food and great people in the area. If you would like some recommendations, let me know!! :-)
Response to Owners reply to my post: You work hard to provide good food but not service to all your customers, as I'm one that was not provided the best service. I didnt post my review after my first or second visit but, after my third. I gave you guys three attempts to provide better service, not sure i would give you a fourth try in the near future. Particularly when you dont consider my safety and choose not to properly wear masks to protect your employees...
