My experience at the Daytona International Speedway was nothing short of thrilling and unforgettable. As a motorsport enthusiast, visiting this iconic venue was a dream come true. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere exuded excitement and anticipation. The Speedway's sheer scale and impressive facilities were awe-inspiring. The staff members were incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring that every guest felt accommodated and ready for an incredible experience. One of the highlights was taking a tour of the Speedway. The guided tour provided a fascinating insight into the history and legacy of this legendary racetrack. Learning about the iconic moments, legendary races, and the technological advancements that have shaped the Speedway was both educational and captivating. Witnessing the track itself was a surreal experience. The sheer size and steep banking of the Daytona track are truly remarkable, giving a profound appreciation for the skill and bravery of the drivers who tackle it during high-speed races. Moreover, getting the chance to explore various sections of the Speedway, including the pit lane, victory lane, and the infield, added depth to the overall experience. The opportunity to stand on the hallowed grounds where motorsport history has been made was an incredible feeling. The amenities and services provided were top-notch. The facilities were well-maintained, souvenir shops, and viewing areas to ensure that guests had a comfortable and enjoyable time. Overall, my visit to the Daytona International Speedway exceeded all expectations. The combination of history, adrenaline-pumping racing action, informative tours, and fantastic facilities made it an absolute must-visit for any motorsport enthusiast. The Speedway truly stands as a monument to the sport, and I left with unforgettable memories and a newfound appreciation for the world of racing. I would highly recommend a visit to the Daytona International Speedway to anyone passionate about motorsports or looking for an exhilarating experience.

While on a week-end getaway in Daytona Beach, my Husband and I decided to take a tour of The Daytona Speedway. We live in North Florida, and have a vacation home in Orlando, so we drive straight through Daytona Beach several times a year. This time we decided to stay for the week-end and do some sight-seeing. We have always wanted to go to the Raceway to see a race, but there was not an event that week-end. There are Tours. You can go online to check the Tour dates and times. You can also book your tour online. We actually just walked into The Tour Lobby, and booked. The Employees are friendly and very informative. The price is $26.00 for adults. The tour is about 45-minutes to 1 hour. They do give a military discount, so we were able to save $10. You are carted around on a covered expanded golf cart. It was fun and comfortable. You are able to take pictures along the way. This place is huge!. The Tour takes you all around. Close to the track, and Victory Lane. We were able to go into the stands and seating. There were some cars on the track, which was exciting. The tour ends at The Museum. This was an unexpected surprise. There are so many history making cars. Self guided tour, the history was amazing. Also this is home to The Motor Sports Hall of Fame. The number of bikes, and history was very educational. Overall, it is a rewarding experience. Well worth the price. I would to warn you to check the weather forecast before you book. Once you pay, they do not cancel the tour in case of rain. It actually starting raining right at the end of our tour. We did not get wet, but others did. This is something that I would do again.

I've been to over 1500 concerts and throw in another 100 of various types. Races, sporting events in Pro and college, even high school. Never had the displeasure of waiting in a non moving line with 150k ppl. I stood in one sport for 2 hours and move 30 ft in the next hour. Through this I watched emergency services carrying people out of the lines into treatment areas or ambulances. All preventable. I realize POTUS was there, however, it was the security that was implemented. It was happless and ill prepared. So many thousands bottlenecked into too few metal detectors. Then the rain started and temperatures dropped. I decided to leave. Never getting on to the race track. Several others decided their health and we'll being was worth more than a race. The people responsible should be criminally charged. The crime of putting at risk the welfare of the souls that became dangerously ill. There was a couple of women in their 50s or so that were Unconscious and unresponsive. I pray they were OK but I don't know. This all while herding the ADA people in wheel chairs in a line that never moved. I know I was next to them, on the far right of the Advent health gate. There was a guy in red Nascar shirt yelling and waving for everyone to move over to the left to allow them to I suppose line up more souls in wheel chairs. I have no idea how thousands of people are supposed move to the left on the voice of one idiot that maybe 30ppl could hear. There were no barriers to guide the line which created the Bottleneck. I saw the potential for a disastrous and dangerous outcome. This should be investigated and the whole security team in the air conditioned offices, should be immediately terminated and if not held criminally, at least civilly responsible. I'm writing this on Monday evening so there has been some cool off period, instead of the anger immediately after. I was in the Daytona International Airport when they decided to restart the race. I know there won't be any of the scenarios that I have opined should happen. The powers that be will just continue to be in the position to make poor decisions and laugh as they count the money. Even during the aftermath of covid and the poorly planned security to show proof of inoculation, it was not as poorly planned or executed as The 2025 Daytona 500. Executed now there's a idea. Everyone that went or attempted to see the race should be comped the total cost of tickets, accommodations, and travel for the ineptitude of those responsible for this fiasco.

I am sharing based on our experience at Rolex 24 this past weekend. We bought a package that included hot laps, Rolex 24 lounge tickets for the 2 days, and victory lane acces. The on-site service was great throughout, morning, day, and night. The chef inspired food menu was a bit lack luster, and both of us were a little ill from something we ate - we'd only eaten at the track, so something just didn't fare well. (The quality and menu didn't feel so chef inspired, but it was ok.) The bar was open and well stocked - we don't really drink, but many around us were having a great time. Facilities in the Lounge were accessible and kept clean with toiletries available. Being a race fan, my husband was super excited for the race, but the viewing at the track wasn't the best with very few screens to see up close if anything happened when outside. When we went into the Lounge to view on screens, there were so many people, and it was so loud we literally couldn't hear any of the race. Ultimately, on day 1, we headed back to the hotel to actually watch the race. I'm not sure if this is normal as it was our first time attending. Flying across the country to see more of the race in our hotel room was a little pointless. I will say ok day 2, the noise had lessened, and we could hear the race inside. We didn't get to do the hot laps as the track moved them a day forward. Given that we were flying 6.5 hrs to go, we couldn't pivot our plans with less than 48 hours notice. Disappointing start to the weekend. However, the track is providing us with tickets for the Coke Zero 400 with hotlaps for August. We just have to fly back into Daytona during the peak of summer to execute, but hubby wants to do the hot lap, so we will head back. Overall, it was an experience - i wouldnt say it was "bad" but between the hot laps, not being able to enjoy the race on Saturday, and not feeling great we wouldnt say it was "good" either. For the overarching cost of flights, hotel and track package we will not repeat it. We didn't leave mad, just somewhat disappointed. Maybe our expectations were too high? We've been to the track for the 500 and Coke 400 in the past, so it wasn't new to us, but the Rolex 24 definitely was.

An Unforgettable Experience at Daytona International Speedway My recent trip to Daytona International Speedway was made even more special by the fantastic tour we took. Our group was on the smaller side, which turned out to be a huge advantage. Because of our size, we were able to access areas that larger groups couldn't, making the experience feel truly VIP. One of the highlights was definitely taking the elevator up to the top of the grandstand. The view from there was breathtaking! We could see the entire track, the infield, and even out to the ocean. It gave us a real appreciation for the sheer size and scale of the Speedway. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating stories and insights about the history of Daytona and the races that have taken place there. We got to see the garages, pit road, and even Victory Lane – it was like stepping into a NASCAR dream! The fact that our small group allowed us to go behind the scenes like this made the tour even more memorable. We felt like we were getting a truly exclusive experience. If you're planning a visit to Daytona International Speedway, I highly recommend taking a tour. And if you can, try to go with a smaller group – you might be surprised at the extra access you get!

Been coming here my entire life, I’m a blue collar hard working person live check by check, my kickoff to the year is spending money at the 500 and taking new people who never been with me every year, make new fans brag upon the experience love this track the smell the people the atmosphere, took 2 people with me paid over 600 bucks for 3 tickets plus parking plus everything else that I never care abt, this year I cared, walked up to gates at 1130 and never got into the place until after the rain delay, missed the whole experience and lost 2 new fans that I was tryna bring into the sport, missed the flyover blue angels missed the start your engines missed the 1st lap missed out on everything I paid for, and didn’t get 1 dollar or a sorry or nothing in return, was more pissed off at bringing 2 new fans that will never return and felt embarrassed more than anything and the money spent without even a mention of sorry is unacceptable, simple sorry I’m good, we didn’t get nothing but treated like a bunch of peasants who paid big money who save all year to spend that 1 day their and have nothing the rest of the year bc that’s all I wanted to do all I ever wanna do every year and got punched in the face I feel ungrateful Unappreciated and not worthy anymore
