University Blvd Beach Park — Attraction in Daytona Beach

Beautiful ocean views and the beach surface is hard, that is why you can drive on the beach. The ocean often has riptides and have seen people that do not listen to the lifeguard, not wise. Slightly off the beach is A1A. I always feel so irritated when I am walking on A1A around the beach because the sidewalks are small and it is dirty. There is liter on the sidewalks and in and around small businesses. I would like to see these businesses clean up around their establishments and do a little painting and window cleaning. There are so many people that come to Daytona for different events and that is what brings them. Surrounding areas are lovely, like Ormond, Wilbur by the sea, DeLand, I do not see why Daytona Beach can't clean up the area, add some flowers and get the business establishments to keep their areas...

HOURS: The beach is accessible and free for pedestrians and bicyclists 24 hours a day, depending on tides and weather conditions. Driving and parking on the beach is open to vehicles from sunrise to sunset from November 1 through April 30 and from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm from May 1 through October 31. Right place to park your vehicle for free beside the beach. Plenty of parking space available with a lot of changing room is also available.Also next right after the block ramp to beach drive is available. Pay $20 for a day and enjoy the amazing beach drive.
