SeaSide Bistro and Bar — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

This place had real good reviews so I said okay let's try it since it was close to my condo. I came in with my son with an hour to eat and get him back for bedtime. First the older lady bartender came up to me and told me just to sit wherever without telling the waitress I guess so she said she didn't know I was there. I sat in the back so ppl wouldn't be bothered by my son's songs during dinner. So I went up to the bar after sitting for 10 mins thinking maybe I just order there. Then the waitress shows but didn't do me much good, placed my order and asked for water. Which I sat the entire time without the water, she forgot about my drink.. I sat there for a good hr before food came out, by that time it was my son's bedtime and he was screaming for bed so ended up just having to take it to go and rush outta there since they took so long. After I finally got my son to bed and was able to reheat it, I ordered it Medium rare, absolutely not medium rare, very medium! Almost well done. Dry. Onion rings were very unimpressive too both fresh and reheated, I tried them when they came out. Bummer. Don't recommend this place and if you don't have 2 hrs to spare for just sitting and eating here wouldn't try them. Wait staff was awesome but the restaurant was understaffed. Drinks were served right away with waters and an awesome ocean view. However, an and a half later still no dinners. After the fisrt forty minutes the waiter/bartender/chef, presented a plate of chicken wings. He asked how they looked. We said they are perfect. He then explained that he will bring them back when the fish tacos are done cooking. He had to thaw the cod before he could cook them and wanted us to have all of our meals out at t u e same time. Twenty minutes after that he came back to our table with french fries, but we had ordered pub chips. We ate those and were happy to have something. Thirty minutes after that, we called it quits. Waited at the bar for ten minutes when the waiter came out of the kitchen with chicken wings that had sat under a warming light for fifty minutes and the fish taco. I wouldn't know of the quality nor do I care to after entering we were told to sit where we want. So, we did just that. There were a few people outside so we went out there. The gentleman after 5min came back to a table he was serving outside then told us he would be right back. We saw him 3 more times out side no menus no water this is 15mins after we were told he would be right back. Get this..He waited to grab menus from inside after he saw me stand up to get my family ready to leave! I couldn't waive him down as he was in and out fast and on the other side of the patio to dissapear inside.
