Captain Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

I'm posting a one-star because of the lady who answered the phone there she clearly was must have been under stress she was verbally attacking me with her words my son was standing right by me I said that I wanted the 1799 coupon that I always get which is a large pizza with one topping and a 2 l of a Pepsi so when I was trying to explain to her that I didn't get the coupon price she said I didn't ask for the coupon price are you kidding me I order from you every week I buy my son chicken wings that cost $30 for 20 of them and I get up that pizza deal every time we order I was very calm and pleasant on the phone which she was not she hung up on me several times how could I ask to speak to a manager if she keeps hanging up on me it's sad to see that the girl answers the phone is going to treat a good customer that way ask your delivery driver the African-American man he is so nice he will tell your manager exactly what happened with the sodas and what you did was wrong and the way that you spoke to me is wrong I have mental illness and PTSD and I don't deserve to have some woman that's aggravated answering the phones hanging up on me and yelling at me I don't know about you but I don't have $34 to spend on one...

The cashier wasn't friendly. She wasn't rude, but very serious to the point. I placed an order and was informed that there's an upcharge if you use a credit card instead of cash to pay.

I requested a slice of cake for dessert as a birthday cake for one of the persons in our party. It was delivered to us in a to-go box, not even on a real plate. We already had a full size cake at home so it wasn't a point of that we just wanted cake it was that we wanted something pretty while at the restaurant.

We ordered a meat lovers pizza, a Hawaiian pizza, calzone, stromboli, spaghetti, french fries, and lemon mild wings. I tasted everything and the fries and wings were the only things good. The rest of the food wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't return.

Also, we we're told no refills on our drinks, which is absolutely insane based on the cost of the drinks. Another reason I wouldn't return.

The general consensus of everyone is we should have went somewhere else for dinner.

The one plus is, if you don't eat pork, this place doesn't...

We finished up a late night of game play at the arcade and were thrilled to find this place still serving after 1 AM. The staff comprised of a great family in a laid back atmosphere. We ordered the biggest pizza they offered & some cheesy garlic bread and they did not disappoint!! You know when you see pizza in cartoons and the cheese and toppings deliciously ooze off the slices... and your whole life you wish to come across that kind of pizza, only to be met with disappointment?? Well, tonight these guys checked off a childhood dream with their creation. The crust was perfect, the sauce so yummy, the toppings were on point.... and the cheesy bread with the dipping sauce was irresistible. The kids were thrilled with their huge slices of delicious pizza and are already begging to go back again before our vacation is over. I’m always a little scared to take risks on new places to eat, but this one will definitely be remembered as a favorite...
