Abshier Stadium — Attraction in Deer Park

Went there for a recent graduation. Place was too small to accommodate the large crowds. It seemes as if there were 50 family members for each student that was graduating. Yeah....i know. Do the math.

A particular demographic known for being in overcrowded vehicles and overcrowded homes made their presence felt. My experience their was horrible. I stood the entire time in the hall leading up to the bleachers and watched the graduation from an unyielding position as masses of beer breath, over sprayed cologne aroma would pass me. I was sweating bullets due to the heat.

Overall i had a horrible experience. Soon as the name of the student I came to support was called I got the hell up out of that place....

Excellent venue for the UIL Regional HS soccer playoff games. Beautiful stadium with good staff coverage and plenty of security. Video scoreboard is great for watching the action or catching a replay. Everything is well maintained and clean. The field looks great from the stands with alternating shades of green.
