My name is Barbara and my Sister In Law recently moved into the Morada and the minute I walked into the forayI felt at home, it was beautifully decorated and spotless. Everybody, at the facility staff and residents are all so friendly and inviting. The whole place is so conveniently laid out and thoughtfully designed. They offer 3 meals a day along with bus service that takes residence shopping. They offer all kinds of activities and the landscaping outdoors is so well kept. The Handy Man, Marty is absolutely fabulous and great about taking care of the residence needs. The price was surprising affordable, especially considering what they offer. Knowing that my sister in law is in a safe and comforting place surrounded by caring people, which enables me to sleep better at night. Thank God we found The Morada Deer Park. This is a great place for your loved one! I toured the property and was amazed at all they have to offer. Price seems high at first but when you factor in all provided it was not so bad. Talked with a couple residents they seemed very happy. I love they provide 3 meals a day in a large restaurant style dining room. Craft room , party room , puzzle room. Plenty of activities, hair Salon on the property. Nice out door patio to sit and visit with other residents. Did I forget to mention a library as well. This place is marvelous. The staff becomes like family in no time flat. The facility is gorgeous, spacious, CLEAN, and maintained excellently. Meals are nutritious and tasty, and the activities are varied, fun, and appropriate. Needs are addressed in a timely manner. (Update: there's a new executive director who is fantastic of taking care of things!) Yes, they were closed for a long time after Harvey, but it was worth it.
