My experience:: If this review was solely for the instructors and staff it would be a 5. My review is based on the organization's membership plans and the fine print contract. I ended up paying $258 for going there 5 times. I am a local resident but I travel a lot. After looking on their website I signed up for the monthly membership which allowed 8 sessions in 1 month for $129 per month. . On the website where it describes the packages it does not say anything about a. 2 month minimum or a 30 day cancelation. This should have been clearly stated in the package description. It is not but it is in the fine print. So I was charged for 2 months even though I reached out to the manager and let him know that I have to travel for work regularly in the following months. I asked the manager since the policy is only in the fine print could I use the 2nd month's charge to pay for individual classes and I would even pay the extra amount on the first month to make up for the difference in monthly and individual class cost. I said it would be a win win situation as I would get a fair amount of classes for the coat I paid and they would keep a long term customer. He was not interested in a fair and sustainable outcome. He would rather get the the $258....
Read moreI live half time in Florida and half time in CT and have practice yoga for 30 years. It saddens me when corporate greed and corporate policy become primary over studio student relationship. I signed up for a free class with the intention of buying many more classes looking for a new studio in the area. I was first told they would not allow me to use the free class because I don't have a Florida ID with me. I then asked if they would hold my credit card, and I would either pay for one class if for some reason I didn't like the class at the end, or I would buy a class package if I did like the class at the end of the class. The gal at the desk became very agitated and nervous at this request and then decided to call the manager as not to get in trouble. She looked a bit scared. After calling the manager they came back and said I'm sorry we cannot do that. I left without taking a class or buying a class package. I'd rather put my money into a studio that has the true yoga vibe. I would also prefer to spend my money at a studio owned by a local yogi rather than billionaires looking to take more money out of the local community any which...
Read moreWent for the 1st time today. Did the core 45 class. Wasn’t yoga at all really. It was fast paced core and exercises with core, arms and legs with props they supply and weights. They say it’s like Pilates mixed with some yoga. I’ve never done Pilates but it was an interesting class for sure. I’ll definitely be going back because what’s nice is in addition to this core class they have regular yoga as well so it’s wonderful to find a place that has both relaxation and healing type yoga plus the high energy workout of core 45. I’m looking forward to trying their regular yoga classes as well. Also looking forward to telling my friends. It’s a BEAUTIFUL place and everyone is so incredibly nice, friendly, helpful. When I first went today I had never done heated room yoga and only started yoga about 7 weeks ago. Before I went today I was scared of how hot the room would be but it wasn’t at all bad like I thought. I’d never been in a heated yoga room before today. I think I was imagining it to feel like an oven but it didn’t and there were also fans in the core 45 room. Was really different and I highly recommend Yoga Joint...
