My daughter and I have been coming here for the last 7yrs. That's the majority of her lifetime! And, in all of those beautiful years, were the creation of some of the happiest, most magical and lovely memories of our growing and developing family👨👩👧 Plus, my daughter loves scrambling around in each of the three playground areas, and climbing all over the safe and sturdy equipment, with all of the other kids 🤣 Also, we have enjoyed many yummy picnics in different areas of the fairly spatial park. Sometimes we would just watch the other families as they talked and laughed amongst each other, while they grilled out. Sometimes we sat in the shade by the pond, trying to protect our food from the watchful eyes of the geese and seagulls. I gotta say though, my daughter's favorite place in the park is the forever aging maze! Even at almost 9yrs. old, it's the very first place she wants to go to....and the very last! Read moreWe visit this place often! There's a paved hiking trail with offshoot natural trails. Trails connect to a larger network that goes outside the park. Baseball diamond and sandy volleyball area. 2 children's playgrounds and a basketball court. Small maze area that's nice for the young ones. There's a "Story Trail" enjoyable for the whole family. Pavilion with restrooms but it only seems open during summer months. There is a porta potty available year round. A second picnic pavilion with tables, cement floor, some counter space and can be rented. Great for a family reunion. Has an outside stage area attached to this 2nd pavilion and there's tiered steps for seating. Park has a large pond with frequent duck and geese visiting. They like to be fed for sure and pond has a dock for viewing fish. Ample parking and various events held during the year. Fireworks for Delta Twp. Added a painted rock garden near an outdoor workout area with exercise equipment added in late 2017. Occasionally see deer, lots of squirrels and other small critters. Great park! I'd love to see them add a...
