The Pod Escape Room — Local services in Delta Charter Township

Came here with my fiancee as his valentine's day present. We loved it! This was the third escape room we have tried and it was probably my favorite. We did the vampire room and the theme was cool. The clues were tied into the theme nicely and there was a wide variety of puzzles and locks. We got to the very last lock and it was physically difficult to get open (we had all the pieces needed but just needed time to physically open it). The game master ended up giving us an extra couple of minutes to give us the chance to open the lock because he knew we just needed time to physically open it. I thought that was awesome - such GREAT customer service.

We will definitely be back to do the bank vault room! We're going to wait until my family comes so they can see how great this place is - we don't want to have to until then though! It would be great if they could open up another room or two, but they do seem to be a small operation, so I can understand if they don't have the staff or building space. Upon entering Elusive Escapes lobby area, I noticed it was the nicest lobby area out of all of the escape rooms I had been to. The decor and furniture were very modern and fitting for the type of business this is. The owners were very outgoing and did a really great job of giving us the back story on our mission for the room. Once we entered the room, I thought the props were really great and that some of the locks you had to open were amazing in that they weren't the typical locks you usually see. There was a good ratio of harder to easier clues for the room as well. We were not able to escape from the room in an hour, but came so close! We decided to return and try their Bank Vault room. I was gifted a Groupon to The Game Pod. My husband and I have never participated in an escape room before and so the gifter felt it would be enjoyable for us. We used our gift this weekend, 3/7/19. It was a group celebration between my husbands birthday and our 4 year anniversary. We made the drive from Holland, the weather was gorgeous! The drive was an easy one as well. Jared was our 'game master' and we participated in the Vampire Lair room. It was an absolute blast!
