Italian Village Pizza — Restaurant in Delta Charter Township

I love the pizza here! Not only is it the tastiest pizza I have ever had but it is also a slice the size of my head and I love that as a big guy. Lol. This location was once sbarros and they always had the best pizza around to me and I feel like Italian Village has followed in their footsteps with the same style and flavor of their pizza and it is a very nostalgic experience for me every bite literally takes me back to my childhood sitting with my mom in the mall eating together (in the 90’s) (was born in 85) those were some of the best times and best years of my life and that is something no other restaurant can duplicate and a huge reason why I will always continue to go here for pizza and love it every time. I was impressed by the excellent service here. I loved the guy who called out to passersby about how hot and fresh the pizza was, haha. He was really friendly and enthusiastic - you could tell he loves his job. He joked that they had put everyone else in the food court out of business, and indeed, all of the other restaurants were closed on this 9-degree-weather day.

I ordered a Greek salad (no onion, sub extra grape tomatoes), a cup of white cheddar broccoli soup, and a small coffee. They gave me a large coffee and added a garlic knot (delicious and hot!) by making my order into a combo, which was cheaper than the way I’d ordered everything. That was pretty cool. I had a very pleasant experience. I was in a hurry and on a very short lunch break from work. It was a rough day and I definitely didn't feel like being spoken to. I stopped by the store and right away was greeted by a man in a red shirt. He had a very welcoming and friendly smile and asked if he could help me. I asked about a few prices and different slices and he very politely and patiently answered all my questions with a great attitude. I can honestly say that his customer service changed my whole mood that day. It is very nice to encounter pleasant workers who enjoy what they do. The food was great and at a decent price. It was clean and neat and everything was accessible to me. I will definitely be coming back again. I only wish I knew...
