Obviously the location of this apartment is a great selling point. But other than that, I can’t recommend it. The apartment was filthy upon move in, there’s water damage to the ceiling and walls, the floor boards aren’t even flush with the walls. It might look nice at first if you don’t look to closely. Otherwise you’ll find tons of flaws.
Also, this place was definitely constructed out of paper. If you live here, get ready to hear your neighbors all day every day. That’s next door neighbors, upstairs neighbor and even downstairs neighbors (I can sometimes hear the downstairs apartment’s music or tv coming up through my floor). It’s not even a normal amount of noise like someone playing music or TV too loudly. You can hear people putting away dishes, talking to each other at a normal inside volume, closing a drawer, I heard my neighbor crying on the phone once, my upstairs neighbor’s shower running, their washer and dryer running, vacuuming. And be ready to hear constant stomping from your upstairs neighbor. So if you don’t want to be subject to every conversation your neighbors have and hear footsteps all day every day, maybe pick somewhere else to live. Or only live in a corner apt on the top floor.
If you work from home or value your sleep and peace and quiet, then this isn’t the...
