I would like to start my saying I really wish I didnāt have to write this review because I really like their business as a whole and their customer service is immaculate, however, this review is catered to plus and mid size people wanting to shop here. I donāt know if it was just the 5 things I tried on but they fit very very small for their size. I am consistently a large or sometimes medium top/dress size and am midsized. I tried on some of their (allegedly) XXL stuff and it fit me like a medium/small. Itās not their fault bc I know they donāt make the clothes, but it really sucked bc every other store I went to on my trip to Denver I could get larges and mediums or even xls but for some reason their stuff is sooo small. Iām not sure what they would do about this but I would hate to be someone actually plus sized and try clothes on here and find absolutely nothing (or someone with body dysmorphia like me who thinks theyāll fit clothes that are usually too big bc that size usually is on you and then they end up being way too small which messes with your self perception ). It sucks because their stuff is so cute too. They frequently talk about size inclusivity however, just because it says xxl doesnāt mean it fits like it. Just beware of that. Literally no notes on anything else about the store. I love their style of clothes and people, which is why it sucks that I canāt really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas wandering down Broadway with my friend and just happened across this store on Saturday... Let's just say we are both so beyond happy we did. We were immediately taken aback by the amazing selection of Doc Martens and especially the Demonia boots, then were even more surprised by the immense clothing item selection. Each piece they had in stock was something to stop and admire. The fact that they have a rotating selection with something new and different every time only makes us want to go back again and again. They were pretty busy, but every single person working took the time at one point or another to help us and make us feel like the only people in there! The sweet guy who I believe was the owner was an absolute blast to chat with... He gave us the rundown on the history of the shop and all the amazing and quite notable people they've helped outfit. I probably could've spent my entire day talking to him but I'm sure he had other things to do lol. I didn't think I'd be walking out with an entirely new outfit but I absolutely did š¤š¼ The fact that it's being spent with local people in our Denver community and not some corporate conglomerate sweetens the deal a thousand times over. We will ten thousand percent be coming back as soon as possible... By far one of the best stores in Denver and my personal favorite now. So much love and appreciation to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTo not see FashioNation is to not see Denver...er, no, that's Elitch's, but the sentiment truly fits for this fine legendary establishment. My girl just turned 12 which was the age I told her she could have her first pair of Doc's. I had remembered the great piece Westword wrote about this place and knew that we would find her first pair. The experience was amazing - eye candy for ANYONE whether it was the amazing footwear, clothing or history for music lovers and historians. The wall of artists whom have stepped foot in FashioNation and the line-up of autographed boots from your favorite bands are enough to make your heart swell and bring tears to your eyes because it's so overwhelming (and I am sure that what is on display is just a small percentage of what actually exists). Our experience was welcoming and everyone was so nice and helpful. It was fun to chat and connect with people I've never met before about the autographs and through the love of MUSIC and fashions. We walked out of there with a beautiful pair of boots that seemed to be made just for my daughter. As with most things in life that matter, you don't find boots, they find you.š Thank you for a wonderful experience and the biggest smile I've seen from my daughter in...
